Kronky’s New Groove

Pretty Much An Avenger
Just finished Tales of Arise to completion. Easily the best Tales game ever made, one of the best JRPG games ever made, and one of my favorite characters.

Dohalim is a treasure that must be protected at all costs.

I'mma either revisit Vesperia, Berseria, or Symphonia or finally check out Detroit: Become Human next.

I turned on my old gamecube for the first time in a long time and I've been trying to complete my playthrough of Pokemon XD so I can eventually test my theory for trading pokemon from that game all the way up to current gen in Pokemon Home.

I've also been playing Yakuza 6 but it's been a bit since I last played.

Crusader Kings III and finishing my second play through of Witcher III (death march mode)

though I just want to play for death march and make different choices from the first play through.

Disquiet

deeply unsettling
I'm once again trying to get into Octopath Traveler. I desperately want to like this game, but have never been able to.
Well it only took two goshdang years and a half-dozen aborted attempts, but I finally get it. I'm a little ways in now and it turns out Octopath is actually pretty good.

I stand by the biggest criticism I had of it to begin with, though: it's just eight independent stories that don't intersect whatsoever. The almost complete lack of personal interaction between the characters you travel with diminishes everything, right down to some stories straight up not making sense if you have a group (Therion, the thief whose arc is defined by his lack of trust in others, is willing to accept the help of three complete strangers on a job right from the beginning?). You get these neat little optional party banter scenes later where your companions chat individually with the protagonist du jour, and I like them, but they only highlight the greater problem all the more because they're not nearly enough on their own.

The game is fun, though. It's a nice twist on proper JRPG combat, with a unique aesthetic and probably one of the best soundtracks in any game. But man, I'm still frustrated.

After a while of hopping between differnet hardcore games that drain the joy out of your life and slowly but surely push your mental state to the edge(Rainbow Six Siege, Escape from Tarkov, Hunt:Showdown etc.), I made a transition to another game that is the absolute peak of self-harm: League of Legends. But I only play with friends and it's mostly just background noise for when we're on discord. Still a shit game and will forever remain the game that ruined my life.

Just beat Megaman X.

Normally, I don't like 2d side scrollers but this was fun. It made you feel accomplished when you beat the stage.

Me with gundam battle operations 2 when my team is a bunch of throwers that sit in base all game or just dive the enemy team to get killed and feed them points
