Glorious Burst and Positron Laser are the same attack names they have in Japanese and Terra Force/Gaia Force are pretty much interchangeable. FINAL ELYSIAN > SHIELD OF THE JUST :amazing Attack and Digimon names tend to favor Japanese more often than not IMO. There are definitely SOME instances where the dub is better but not many.

I don't mind Guilmon's voice and her performance as Dukemon makes up for it where she just goes full Goku with it. Voice suits Dukemon more than it ever did Goku. They're okay, they're definitely good performances in the dubs and occasionally the gags actually get a laugh but other changes are just outright stupid like making a joke of Apocalymon. No question that sub is better as far as Digimon is concerned.

Well TBF that is kind of the point of Dukemon as a Royal Knight, showing that Virus Types can still be heroes, which is fine IMO. It's the same kind of contradicting thing as Beelzebumon being a demon lord yet he's become the redeemed hero in two separate series. But yeah, this was stupid.

Ah I see, I getcha. I was just saying I understood how someone could forget Megidramon, I do LIKE the design. It's a cool digimon, it just needs to actually get to do something one of these days other than show up and look scary. Meanwhile Medievil Dukemon is literally just Dukemon with darker colors and yet somehow probably has way more shot of ever actually doing something, just because it looks like a Royal Knight.

At least SkullGreymon has had more than ONE appearance, which is more than most of them can say. Of course then GulusGammamon happened and made them all look like a fucking joke. :amazing

For as good a design as it is, it really doesn't get to do much and is completely overshadowed by Dukemon so I can believe that. The only dark evolution more forgettable is Shinegreymon Ruin Mode. :kobeha

Can we just remember that Guilmon is already a Virus Digimon that teeters on the edge of going full nuclear of the digital world? He doesn't fucking need a dark version and Megidramon and Medievil Dukemon pretty much already are that. Newsflash Digimon guys, the reason BlackWarGreymon worked so well is because his character was so damn good, not because palette swaps of shit are acceptable outside of very rare instances like with Cherubimon Vice where it's a corrupted form. Wouldn't even be so bad if the line looked good but they don't, they're just worse versions of the Guilmon forms they're based on.

Instead of doing Impmon as a dark version of Guilmon, why not go the other and give Impmon a light version of his line? Anything would have been better than this, yes INCLUDING Shoutmon X4B, at least then he got a top tier theme to go with it.

You had Impmon partnered with a female character, the obvious chance to use Beelstarmon was there...and you blew it. For THIS? "Darker" versions of a Digimon who has plenty of dark versions already. :whatisthis Impmon isn't pineapple head's bitch guys, he's an iconic digimon in his own right and deserves more than this damn it.

Prime Photon Dragon is nice and all but compared to all the new Hope variants (Hope Victory, Beyond the Hope, Future Hope etc.), Kaito didn't improve anywhere near as much over the course of ZEXAL II as Yuma and Shark/Nasch did. Just like how it'd be pretty hard to argue Ryo (be it as Kaiser or Hell Kaiser) still being able to beat Judai by EoS Better question would be which final rival duel is better, Yuma vs Kaito III or Yuma vs Nasch? :maybe

While I personally enjoy Yuma's rivalry with Shark more than the Kaito one, Kaito is easily my favorite rival character from Yu-Gi-Oh!.
