Man I remember how I was hoping Rey in the Sequel trilogy would at least lose something on her body to go along with the theme of SW protags getting body parts chopped off only for them to treat her in the most boringly safe way possible because "muh stronk female character" so seeing this series here just have their Female Protag get easily taken down and have her finger chopped off is a real good shock in this post modern woke slop era.

If NCR falls I would prefer it be more organic and have it decline to being a rump state rather then wiped out without a trace. And for the love of god make the now dominate faction anything other then the BOS.

Like I said, just make the show it's own timeline and maybe show this in another season with that one guy from 4 and you would remove 50% of what detractors hate about the series.

If it was in it's own timeline, which could be explained since 4 introduced dimensional bullshit, it would be accepted more instead of being shoved as canon for the main timeline. I find what I hear of the main characters is good, it's just the lore breaking and retcons really don't sit right with me and others who are fans of at least the Western Coast of Fallout.

I was expecting all of this the more I heard of this shit. All the "FIRST EPISODE SLAPS THIS IS TOTALLY GOOD GUYS" Sounded like the same shit I heard whenever any new franchise in this day an age gets new shows and movies and they start off looking good only to go to shit fast. Happened with He-Man, Happened with TLOU, happened with the MCU after Endgame, and the one that comes to mind the most, is Star Wars. In fact the way the NCR and BOS is treated reeks of the same stupid shit writing and World building for the Sequels. Just like the NCR, the New Republic was a long time faction in the fandom people were excited to see because they found them interesting as a "good guy" faction with flaws and both inner and outer conflicts that made them compelling and when woke writers got a hold of them they immediately have them wiped out like chumps who accomplish nothing and the whole setting does not give a fuck as if such a large and powerful faction getting taken out would not lead to...

If it was any other scene maybe but the context and wording he gives makes him sound way more tired of all the shit he gets despite all the trouble he went through.

The fact he goes out of his way to mention "Evil Mutants" really helps sell the point that Scott and the X-Men have tried their damnedest not only for Mutants but Humans as well to keep them safe so the ungratefulness he gets makes his attitude all the more justified.
