Clive Rosfield (Final Fantasy XVI) vs Masaru Daimon (Digimon Savers)

No problem with everything else you said, just gonna point out that he was buffed when he did this by absorbing the digisoul of everybody else and it's not something he could have done normally. You did also miss him no-selling MirageGaogamon's attack, hell they used it to propell him up the tree. :maybe

Digimon: Seekers Ultimates vs Savers Ultimates

Seekers Feats (since I assume more people know Savers feats) Kazuchimon's ultimate attack is described as him generating a miniature Sun equal to the whole world's (likely referring to Earth, not the universe) energy use at a given time and later on, as generating energy equivalent to the Sun's core. Half power Dorugoramon can survive this attack straight up (albeit while fucking up his arm), meanwhile Full Power Dorugoramon's attack is able to one-shot his equal in Ouryumon when he scored a clean hit (in that it knocked him out, he still survived). In terms of speed, Kazuchimon's Child Form in Pulsemon already moves at lightning speed and Loogamon can react to and dodge this. Kazuchimon's own attacks release energy charges every NANO-second and his peers can react to his attacks which puts all of them at just about FTL. Hmm now that I say that, I probably should equalize speed here 'cause the Seekers team is gonna make the Savers team look like statues. :maybe I don't think...

Circus of Humorous & Humiliating Arguments Part 4 Part 2: Electric Boogaloo

https://www.fanverse.org/threads/piemon-digimon-adventure-runs-a-shonen-and-shoujo-gauntlet.1316482/ WOW, I'm living rent free in this guy's head by literally doing NOTHING! :heston Genuinely surprised at this point, that he didn't comment on my Seekers Ultimates vs Savers Ultimates thread, if only to again try to bait me back into the Adventure argument as if I have a fuck to give about it. Sorry I'm not a masochist whose willing to yell at a brick wall and actually want to discuss other parts of the franchise than just Adventure Though it goes to show that these people don't even give a fuck about anything BUT Adventure at this point. Very similar to the people making the anime/movies now that I think about it. No doubt that's WHY they're so desperate to wank it, they want it to be the strongest or at least up there. Too bad that even with the most generous interpretation possible, Adventure still comes up short against Xros Wars and Ghost Game for certain. :maybe

Honestly I still think Aerith's better looking though in the case of the other picture, the blonde is definitely better looking. 🤷‍♂️ Yep, essentially to avoid getting locked out of getting the important shit in Besaid, you have to KNOW going in that you should: Get the 2nd Al Bhed Primer from the Crusader's Lodge, which is hard to see when you first go there because of the angle they show and Luzzu being between the camera and it. Get the Destruction Sphere item from the Cloister of Trials in order to be able to get Anima and by extension the Magus Sisters. Backtrack once the tutorials are over to get Valefor's second overdrive (and to be able to use the equipment shop). Backtrack once the Jecht Spheres are unlocked so you can get all of Auron's overdrives. Bear in mind this means you have to backtrack from MACALANIA WOODS, ALL THE WAY BACK TO BESAID to get this item before Dark Valefor is there. That is like half of the game you're backtracking there. And no you can't wait...

Circus of Humorous & Humiliating Arguments Part 4 Part 2: Electric Boogaloo

https://www.fanverse.org/threads/sensui-vs-sephiroth.1316671/#post-66899541 Sephiroth's Supernova (as well as all the summons) are directly stated to draw the target into a different dimension when they're being used, so the planet Sephiroth is destroying while using Supernova is not the same planet (very obviously given the actual planet is still there). Knights of the Round is already more impressive than Supernova feat-wise and yet we outright know that it's weaker than METEOR because the latter is stated to be the strongest Materia FULL STOP! HOLY and the LIFESTREAM have parity with METEOR ergo they scale, this isn't hard. He needs METEOR to damage the planet enough to force the LIFESTREAM to take action. He then needs to personally hold HOLY back because both at once could overpower METEOR outright (ie what literally happens after he dies). Like this is the reason the party needs to fight Sephiroth at the end, because he's holding HOLY back (which again shows that...

Circus of Humorous & Humiliating Arguments Part 4 Part 2: Electric Boogaloo

https://www.fanverse.org/threads/sensui-vs-sephiroth.1316671/ Oh not this shit again. :smh No, Sephiroth's plan was to WOUND the planet and force the LIFESTREAM to try to mend it, which would then allow him to absorb the Lifestream and become a God, THEN he would use the husk of the planet to travel the universe. Ignoring the fact that HOLY and the Lifestream exist, making it much more difficult to destroy this particular planet outright (which is why he needed METEOR), METEOR is outright stated to be the strongest materia which by default makes it stronger than Knights of the Round who are already well beyond planet level. Nothing about the narrative makes Sephiroth's power level not make sense, in fact it consistently supports it with Supernova being confirmed as his limit break as early as Crisis Core and it being outright stated the summons (and supernova) take you to another dimension to do their shit. Hell Sequel disguised as a Remake Sephiroth is trying to take...

Yeah, it's definitely rare that series maintain consistency throughout and stick the landing but it definitely happens. Honestly I could have brought up Digimon Xros Wars as well if not for rushed the ending was, because they wanted to get to Young Hunters. The actual content of the ending is fine, hell the DarkKnightmon swerve was great, it just needed an extra episode or two to let the "deaths" have weight.

https://www.fanverse.org/threads/what-does-attack-on-titan-do-better-than-other-anime-and-manga.1263903/ Someone's jimmies are rustled. :mjpls No one is expecting it to be perfect, we're just expecting it to not be garbage which isn't a lot to ask. Nice strawman though. :maybe Yu-Gi-Oh DM and GX both had solid storytelling throughout up to and including the ending. Same for Digimon Adventure 01, Tamers, Frontier and Savers. Sure none of them are PERFECT (because no story is) but the issues that they have are ultimately minor or not significant enough to ruin them and certainly not remotely on the level of what AoT shat out.

Another thing that I almost facepalmed at in this was when he got to Sho. "Vehicroids are still terrible but yeah, that's basically what he's stuck with." Like you DO remember that he inherited the Cyber Dragons in Season 4 right? He even used them in his last duel. If the Vehicroids are really THAT bad, it seems likely Sho would eventually just commit to Cyber Dragons entirely. If we need Ryo to have something different, then we could say that Sho wouldn't play the Cyberdarks but Ryo would and Ryo would probably also play the Chimeratechs. I mean sure there's Speedroids like he says but those are that Arc-V character's cards so no.

"Limiting Edo to D-Heroes IS limiting but that's his Archetype isn't it?" Bu..but Edo literally played E-Heroes as well in the anime. Sure he only did it for two-duels but the fact remains he HAS shown that he would be willing to play E-Heroes as well. Hell D-Hero Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer is an enhanced version of an E-Hero monster. It wouldn't even be like he'd be too similar to Judai because Judai would likely play the E-Hero/Neos/Masked Hero hybrid while Edo plays the E-Hero/D-Hero/Vision Hero hybrid. They'd still be playing different decks really. :maybe

DAMN! This was pure plot on all fronts frankly, I forgot how much of a clusterfuck this was. First in the sense that Rishid/Odion obviously had the duel won, only to be forced into an obviously stupid decision in order for Marik to keep up the charade of Rishid actually being Marik. Something that is completely unnecessary at this point, there's no benefit to Marik's identity still being hidden as Kaiba isn't going to throw him out anyway. I GUESS, MAYBE he wanted to be able to surprise Atem in a duel with the reveal later but he would have had to use Ra and give himself away against Mai anyway, or just be revealed by Ishizu so again it's pointless. Never mind the fact that it should have been obvious this wouldn't work and would just end the charade anyway. Then on Jonouchi's front, LIKE HELL our boy draws that BADLY for that many turns in a row by this point in the series. That's purely the plot needing to FORCE Jonouchi into an unwinnable situation, when it actually would have...

Didn't help that Haou stuck with the far more limited Evil Heroes. If he'd gone all out and used everything, Austin would have gotten wrecked hard. At the very least there needed to be a lot more evil hero versions of the other cards like Neos and stuff.
