Nigga, we're in the same boat. We both gotta watch our boy take a third L. All jokes aside, like my initial reactions from earlier(which is basically just me comically coming to terms with the fact that DB is really opening this can of worms again, just for the same result 3 times in a row) I ain't happy about this.I'm sorry man I'm just tired of shit

I'm sure, again, the animation will be great. But other than that, this whole episode is about as pointless as it gets, outside of them doing a far more respectful version of part 2.

You might as well put Superman vs. Sun Wukong just to end the debate entirely... and still give Superman a BS win because fuck off.

I never cared about either My Little Pony or Gravity Falls but I have to admit, Discord vs Bill was also one of the most entertaining fights to date.

The only reason I can think of to justify this is that Goku vs Superman Round 2 happened just before Dragon Ball Super escalated Goku to Universe+ level since they were going strictly by the Battle of the Gods and Resurrection of F movies as the only available source…Nigga, I wish he would, as I'm more of a Goku fan than Superman fan. Way more.
I just know he won't. Animation should be fire, though.
Except we’ve had numerous Dragon Ball vs Capes matchups since to get a good idea of how this rematch would turn out enough that they really didn’t need to bother making a third one over a lot of other unused ideas

DB ends with superman taking goku home and telling chichi to get him to cut the fucking shit
All I can say is this, they should at least give Goku a much more respectable end then 2 did, with his and Supes' analysis and post-analysis actually giving them the respect that they're due, rather than the garbage they did with 2, which shat on both.

I assume for them to even consider revisiting this match-up, they must have had a lot of ideas for what they could do with the fight, and that we'll at least get a banger animation out of it. They know the controversy and know that this episode will have to be good enough to both serve as redemption for the second installment and satisfy the bulk of their audience who didn't want to see round 3. I'm hopeful that it will leave me pleasantly surprised.
