Which actually evidences against your position that the gameplan was a failing one. The right player was set up in the right way, with enough mislynches on the table to give them room to push into. Statistically is all a plan can really account for. There's no shame in losing to a good read at the end.

Well if you want to take credit for RDK's position that's different. I was talking about your own game plan

No, I take credit for the part I played in outlining that. Pushing against Gad inviting him to distance, to create the impression that I was wary of his role, while also strengthening the tie I had to Ichigo. I listed out the prospective mislynches and where to push, and how to handle Aurelian. RDK gets credit because he executed this all very well, and he had his own ideas to contribute that worked for this too.

My gameplan was to do as much damage as possible while I was around, and to ensure that there were mislynches available after I had gone. I was not playing to go all the way, I expected my role to be obstructive to that.

after reading day 1 and 2 the outcome of this game was mostly predictable tbh, like i said ratchet dies then the entire team crumbles after him. similar to better call saul.

mafia still had a shot because they kept their head above water while couple of townies trolled, namely a day 1 townie went completely MIA, vig had a bad n1 shot, and end game townies butchered every single role usage. none of this was mafia controlled. the mafia team mostly played passive this game, and they mostly didnt need to until late game, where they came a bit short on aggression.

also luckily for town, the mafia n1 and n2 kills were overall suboptimal, specially after learning that they had a busdrive. that plus some unfortunate slips in the midgame equalized things, otherwise unironically i think we lose, to a mostly passive team nonetheless

Which was? My plan for myself was not isolated from my plan for the team to win, and Melkor was referring to the gameplan laid out to win the game, which goes beyond my individual game plan, so I don't even know if you know what you're arguing at this point. And for the record, my distancing with Fang was fine, right up until he slipped, at which point the prospect of it being a bus was introduced into the peripheral of the town. There is nothing I can do about that, nor can I account for it, beyond trying to play it off and to try and take control of the framing of it, all of which I did.

You're taking it as a condemnation of your play which is already annoying when I just asked him why RDK wasn't a consideration, so I barely feel like elaborating on this. But basically you failed to do much damage from the standpoint of your own play as mafia. If you say there's nothing you could have done about that or you were dealt a shit hand, or played well considering your circumstance, those are all probably true as well

dem 7 anti town votes + poyser + sparkle + fuji

that cuda been majority on you day 1 easily

guess we no diffed them

You’re just embarrassing yourself now lmao

I mean, this only holds if you think the only way you can "do damage" is to personally lead the lynches that you help set up. It's obviously nonsense, especially when you consider that I had to change course pretty swiftly day 2 to reconcile something out of the game. For example, Flower going over instead of Watson Day 2 was very good for us, even if she was essentially outed Day 3, because there was a good chance town just keep Flower around to force her to town side, and getting the lynch helps put the pressure on town. I don't think Ichigo gets lynched if I didn't position myself to look like a team mate of him.

But you seem to have this arbitrary definition of "damage", and anything that doesn't fit inside that is a failure of process or something lmao. I don't recall you holding these sentiments otherwise too, hence my suspicion that it may have been motivated by something else. You say it's not, and I accept that, just want to outline how I'm coming to that conclusion originally.

I think the definition of damage is pretty straightforward. You're acting like I'm holding you to some stringent criteria...there were two mislynches the entire game (yes I lead both shut up :whatthekong). You spent most of your energy pushing Aurelian and that didn't fall through as planned

You can count Flowa, I suppose, but she basically outted herself. I'm not trying to make you feel bad. I was sort of trying to acknowledge RDK's efforts and you took it as a slight so now I'm begrudgingly explaining my opinion. I have always been consistent on my criteria of you actually have to effect the game in some shape or form to deserve credit when I host my games for example. The circumstances ultimately were not overcome, that is not an indictment on any of you or your play.

Actually my sus on you was because of how you played around guillo who I easily town read d1 😎 and then the wagon hopping that followed
You are the Tempest player that about a month ago joined Deck Mafia right? Or are you a different Tempest?

I just suffered the misfortune of having Aurelian as a team mate. I know the pain, from the back end of him not listening to the front end of how much attention he attracts. That said, I don't feel like I'd be awarded here if I was scum in your position and things played out exactly how they did and you're a better scum player than I am. I'm putting myself in your shoes, not trying to nitpick. I do appreciate your kills and I think you could have made this game easier for yourself too, so kudos for not taking the super easy route.

My career path has been

WrestlingForum -> WrestlingSmarks -> OLF

I have played 1 game on PerC (Personality Cafe) and then an invitational champs game on some forum I forgot the name of but I mostly just trolled on there
