Dual katanas are fine if you want to be maximum weaboo

Twinned Set is objectively the coolest set for faith builds.

Night Cavalry Set for death sorcerer/spellblade builds.

Raging Wolf is an all rounder but I use it with bleed builds mainly, and black flame incantations.

I like how there is both a Scale armor and a Scaled armor and the latter is just a heavier version of what Istvaan wears and resembles an open-helmed version of the classic DeSu protagonist's Fluted armor

Quickest way to him is via Varre. He gives you an item that transports you near there.
