Was really glad when I saw you don't lose anything for getting killed in this game aside from having to fight the enemies again. Sometimes you just don't need to go overboard on punishing the player for dying.

I did go "WTF" when I found my first can and Eve posed with the thing like she was a bilboard model, though I do think it's a nice touch that she collects them out of sheer curiosity/as a hobby basically.

Also the fact that there are auto-save checkpoints outside of just the camp sites is just really nice.

Honestly i was expecting goofy stuff like that when I noticed that the planet diving suits had ties on them (I didn't see it at first on her default green and black suit but it was much more obvious when I unlocked the orange v2 suit.)

Well I've kinda just been sticking with her default green suit 'cause I really like it. The only one I've seen so far that I like better is Tachy's suit, so I haven't really noticed the suits having ties on them.

Admittedly been a LONG ass time since I've seen ANYTHING from the original game, but if nothing else the mod does make it look A LOT better from what I remember.

I mean I would like to hope so given Max is sinking his actual money into this to try and make this game better.
