Nah arise is a separate world. Berseria shares a world with Zestiria (kinda crappy game)

I beat berseria earlier this year, great game

Berseria is awesome but the battle system is also kinda busted. I tried to play on max available difficulty earlier this year and yeah it's still fun but you're pretty much forced to use OP Velvet. And then there's bosses who are just complete BS on chaos difficulty, not to mention the postgame dungeon

ye it is a pretty hard game on higher difficulties with all the status effects and whatnot

Story is GOAT tho imo
