Okay, I have a weird role which I think I kind of wasted.

Tek Knight, x-shot autonomyous lie detector. Can use it once a day.

During a day, I can check if a statement is a truth or a lie, but 1 out of 3 results would be a lie randomly. I would not know which one (could be the first for example).

Does not work on direct alignment claims or made under duress (direct threat or being wagoned , Gram clarified that someone being forced to claim due to being leading wagon would not work). It would come out automatically as a lie if given under duress.

Usage:

Day 1 on Hime's claim (truth)

Day 2 on Poyser's oracle usage (truth) - this is why I was unsure about him until the number of people not having night role did not make sense to me.

Day 3 on Emil's indie claim (lie).

1/3 results will be false or 1/3 will show up as a lie?
 
As far as the complexity goes, Gram has in the past had "tokens" in which a team can have him craft a fake claim for them matching the character. I agree that it's fairly complex but Melkor would know any result he has today is the correct one because his Poyser one was wrong. So if he sees Ekko lied then that's an issue by itself. Because he would be saying "okay here is the deal, Ekko is a liar". Him not doing so is very very hard to reconcile.
 
Also think him using it on Ekko's claim is weird by itself. If he can't check against alignment what exactly is he checking there, and why would he expect it to work?

So this is interesting, because it implies investigations will fail rather than returning favourable results. Which could indicate no cop.

Not only that. Why not be more defensive of Poyser if he has mech that suggests he's telling the truth. Why not claim when he has results on Ekko that he knows is true because of the inaccurate result from Poyser. Why even check Ekko in the first place?
 
Melkor was a vig target tonight, maybe thats why he claimed to have more to his role and then claimed that to dissuade Lethal from vigging him?

He said because he was told 1 out of 3 results will be a lie he thought Poysers claim could be a lie given that Hime was telling the truth, but like how would he know Hime was telling the truth though lol.
