I was planning on making a thread on these findings for months now but this great channel beat me to it with a great little summary of how we got a crocodile sized millipede and most importantly how giant bugs are NOT limited by the oxygen content.
For nearly 2 decades now I've been arguing with people both online and in real life about the absolute bonkers claim that arthropod size is limited mainly by oxygen content and while it might seem like a good hypothesis backed up at least partially by the fossil record it's faaaaar too simplistic and when dealing with biology... it's never as simple as that.
So enjoy!
