Monks
Masters of Unarmed Combat, Monks are experts at overwhelming their opponents with full powered rapid strikers. Their speed allows them to pierce lighter armor while their strength lets them deliver powerful blows to crush heavier sets. True masters of Unarmed combat can even strike and attack mystical enemies using blows enhanced with their Chi.
Level 1: Novice Monk - A monk that has just begun their training deal Unarmed Attack damage to their opponents whenever they attack them. They also gain a bonus in Attack Speed when using Staffs, Nunchucks, and One Handed Weaponry like Short Swords or Daggers.
Unarmed Damage = 2(Lv+1)+(Str/4)
Bonus Attack Speed = 5%
Level 3: Leg Sweep - The Monk delivers a powerful blow to an enemies legs, knocking them off their feet.
Damage = 2.5*BaseDamage
Enemy is knocked down for 4s
Level 5: Disarming Blow - The Monk delivers a powerful blow to an enemies arms, knocking their weapons out of their hands and reducing their attack speed.
Damage = 1.5*BaseDamage
Disarmed = Cannot attack for 5s
Attack Speed Reduction 10% for 10s
Level 7: Chi Strike - The Monk builds up Chi in their fist, striking their enemy with an enhanced blow that knocks them back and strips away some of their energy pool
Cost = 15 Chi
Bonus Damage = +5
Mana Loss = 10%
Knockback = 5 ft
Cooldown = 5s
Level 9: Empowered Strikes - The Monk generates a wave of energy around their fists letting them deal bonus elemental damage with each of their strikes. Upon learning this skill the Monk chooses what elemental affinity they would like their attacks to have.
Bonus Elemental Damage = 3
Level 11: Armor Within - While wearing clothing or being Unarmored, the Monk gains Defense equal to half their combined Strength and Dexterity
Unarmored Defense = (Strength + Dexterity)/2
Level 13: Speedy Blows - With each attack the monks swings get faster and faster increasing their attack speed up to a maximum of 15%
Attack Speed Increase per Attack = 3%
