I saw that they gave him a human face when he evolved or something which really sucks but he always seemed pretty awesome both in design and in how he was the different Celestial
there any good stories surrounding him that are easy to jump into ?

His first appearance is in incredible hercules which is pretty much the mcu plotline but better, also think it's the same story where he transcends.

Doesn't really appear much, outside of that with small cameos just doing celestial stuff and dreaming. You shouldn't jump into it unless your ready start learning lots of lore, real fast, he isn't as important as you might think tbh.
