OBD Convo #41: Everyone sees the same sky

my serious rating about jjk now, as fair as i can be

jjk manga - 7.5/10 pre-current arc, 4.5/10 if you count it, the writing became so bad

jjk anime - 1st season was 7.5/10, 2nd season is 9/10, mappa is truly at its best now, its like the ufotable kimetsu situation, but unlike kimetsu, jjk even at its worst, still is a better series than kimetsu, easily

its a fusion of series like yyh, hxh, kekkaishi, bleach and nardo, has its own personality and agenda, but it aint fully unique, like sakamoto days or even spy x fam

we have seen this shonen/supernatural battle formula so many times, and performed even better, its just that, with the level of many current bad series which exist, it stands out, it aint that difficult, tbh

if this series was released back in 00s, it would had been possibly axed, after few volumes, cuz series like bleach, oda piece, nardo, hxh, dgm (at its prime), etc were there

you get the point, the bars have been lowered so much, that a series with decent writing, good art and some good choreo can stand out, quality wise

manga levels at this moment, is at its worst, very few and limited manga series, both shonen and seinen, are good and rad anymore

You mean DMC overall or just DMC1? There is plenty of tracks I remember from the history of the series, I don't know their names but I can remember them beat for beat and some of the lyrics.

I'm ultimately fine with the series, I hate debating it though but that doesn't really stop me otherwise so...
 
as for webtoons and manhua series, dont keep up with them, for a while now

dont know if any new good stuff are out, tbh, at least, the fights in webtoons, if we go that route, are better, most of the times, colored edition, helps too

Everytime Death Battle did a Goku vs Superman there was literally a new Dragon Ball movie or series that comes immediately after

The Original? Battle of Gods released after. GvS2? Return of F and Super released.

Now this fight is gonna happened and Dragon Ball is gonna release with Dragon Ball Daima

Death Battle is keeping Dragon Ball alive I sear to got :skully
