Well yes but larger games than this, surely? I'm expecting 10v3, and fairly vanilla at that, scum that straight up can't lose in LyLo would be very strong.

How would it be different to them just like being a double voter?
In LyLo, town can still reach majority with a double voter, granted they need to be swift. But even then, in a game this size I would assume scum have minimal vote manipulation at best, unless they're sized smaller to account for it.
Come on, they can’t. Mafia can control when the phase ends - hold until deadline, make sure you’re all online etc. it’s an auto win

Oh also I forgot about the condition that it has to be somebody voting for him, which does nerf the power somewhat. If town knows the role exists then you can work around it, and make sure you all vote at the same time so he wouldn’t have time to submit the action
You could make the argument that maybe he just shouldn’t have claimed it, but most people when in trouble would opt for claiming a provable role they have

town can be swift against lethal's role too.. in fact its even easier, they need to hammer before lethal uses the role!

Eh, strictly speaking they could hammer and then Lethal uses the role, depends on how the host resolves it. The point being, it probably shouldn't be in a game this size if we assume standard numbers etc.
