Comes off genuine to me TBH, feel like as scum he just sticks to his principle. Don't see what he gains from voting Poyser there. Not like hell get credit for it later if Poyser is his mate and flips scum. He admits he's voting a town read

Worth noting Poyser made that point about how the same people going after Poyser were going after champ but seems to have dropped that consideration today and is fine with people going after champ as long as it's not him

Not strongly pushing an alternative either. His vote is on me but his sus seems to come entirely down to annoyance that I'm scum reading him rather than an actual analysis of my play

Updates reads. Tweet is because I'm sheeping and also don't really have a good reason to town read the slot. Some of the Blues are going to be scum. Melkor/Aurelian/Tempest/T-Pein - I think there should be 1-2 scum in there. Don't want to lynch my green reads though I do accept Poyser is likely to go over today.

Not really accurate. The RDK wagon was bigger at the time and more likely to go over. If his goal is to reach majority he would go RDK here. Voting Poyser means he can wash his hands off as he isn't helping cause a lynch and No Lynch would help scum greatly.

I think if Poyser is scum the chances of Champ being scum drop considerably. Not to 0 but not very high after that. Problem is I don't see Poyser as scum.

I mean, in that co text he is saying that to try and convince a potential voter of his to not vote him - expecting his thoughts to be congruent or him to even town read the slot when he's trying to appeal to the slot when he's under pressure doesn't really hold up to scrutiny. I don't think Poyser has argued that his wagon is scum pushed either, and he wasn't really arguing it Day 1.
 
I think if Poyser is town I'd probably move Tempest to scum reads. Lacking some holistic consideration for me, also I get the feeling he doesn't really want to extend too far here which would be an indication perhaps of self-preservation when as Town he has the bit between his teeth here. From an informative standpoint Poyser's lynch probably does help give some context onto a lot of these slots and I also think Ultra needs to have his legacy heard. So I'm on board with the lynch from that perspective. Just not really something I believe is going to flip successfully. But who knows, I could be misreading him quite easily.

How? The lynch was either Poyser or Haza and I read Haza as town. I had provided reasons to vote tweet (and did) plus suspect Sky. So fuck your silly shade right off.
 
I've never been a particularly good Poyser reader tbh so I'm not going to pretend I am now or that I have this wide degree of certainty. From my position he doesn't make much sense as scum. That's about all I have to say there.

In retrospect I think poyser fits more as SK. He went from very weak and meandering d1 to just reflexively pushing whoever was pushing him. Wagonomics doesn't really point to a scum team. He seems to be playing for his own survival which doesn't fit his mafia MO

why were you more sure about rdk being town over the guy whose reads you largely agreed with?
 
I'm also the one in this game who reads you best aside from Ultra who is dead, so discrediting me and tilting me out is a thing you'd have to do p much.

I'm not sure you're scum, but I consider it strongly in a Town Poyser world.

Eh, no I don't accept this. I think you could do that without being concerned about her scum reading you back, largely because you can quite easily characterise it as OMGUS and not really worry about it threatening your survival. And if you buddy up to her, there is a risk that it comes across as buddying, so it's not like you're choosing the path of most resistance here. You might be, but there is resistance either way is my point. When I say that you feel concerned with self preservation, it's that I feel there is a gap between how you're playing and how you would play this as town. Now there could be a few reasons as to why that gap exists, and not all result in you being scum, but I'm reading along and following your points expecting to hit one where I'm convinced by it and I'm not quite getting there. Even if I don't agree, I think I should be able to see that you really believe in it. Maybe I'm missing it, or it's not there. I think I'm going to let Poyser's alignment decide that.
