William Wallace didn't accomplish much so I'm not sure it matters.Do you think the Okinawan people should be the Scotsmen of Asia?

Oh okay:I think you mean Robert the Bruce since he's actual Braveheart dude.
Because he didn't.He symbolized the strength, courage, defiance, freedom, and independence of the Scottish nation and its people.
And his legacy made a famous Hollywood movie out of it with one of the most memorable lines in cinema.
Not sure how you can say that's not accomplishing much.
No no, you're misunderstanding me.Oh okay:

Mixed the two up.

Ah thanks for the history lesson there mate.Because he didn't.
William Wallace was ultimately just ONE of a couple lords who were rebelling at the time (the other big leader got killed at Stirling Bridge) who got one significant win at Stirling Bridge, barely breached the border of England, got fucked up at Falkirk and then was captured and killed.
Robert the Bruce was the one who not only had to fight a successful guerrilla campaign against England but had to spend YEARS pacifying his enemies in Scotland before he could FINALLY win its independence from England.
Macrohistorical he didn't do much. Robert the Bruce was indeed the real one.Yep. I did.
He symbolized the strength, courage, defiance, freedom, and independence of the Scottish nation and its people.

So I guess we can stick with the Patron Saint of Karate then.Macrohistorical he didn't do much. Robert the Bruce was indeed the real one.
I used to like Braveheart but it hasn't aged well.
Not sure about the Okinawans. I remember there was a guy that beat a fully armed Samurai with just Karate and saved a girl though. He sort of became the patron saint of Karate. It was on Human Weapon back in the day.
So I guess we can stick with the Patron Saint of Karate then.
Wonder who would be the Welsh in Japan's history or the Welsh of the Far East.
It was about 33:00 in.
