I’m not married to the chuck had too redirect both if your roles at once theory instead of just redirecting the cop. I think that’s the most likely explanation for the guilty and i’m just gonna role with that until proven false. Rather than tinfoil myself to death.

I think that's the easiest thing to consider. I'm not going to try and go in circles figuring out why necro Charlie targeted Flower, but we know it wasn't with the protect or redirect. Best answer is Cata saw someone else being visited by Charlie because Flower was bus driven.

Unironically Ichigo visiting me and destroying my jail would explain why I could have gotten redirected and gotten a result.

I asked Fuji if someone being redirected would have both their abilities go to the same target and he said yes.
 
Actually killing Cata and redirecting him at the same time would make sense, too, given that the Medium exists and he‘d still get results.
 
flower was bus driven with scum, chuck protects the driven target, chuck redirects you.

scum has an ability to let one of their memebers use their role post death.

or someone controlled your role completely last night and they still drove you.
