His confident scumread on me, only to reset to townreading me once he realized he wouldn’t be able to either push me or have me townread him that way, is sort of a confirmation for me.

Mafia have a janitor. That means on Night one if they kill successfully, all further claims are thrown into contention
So for this reason it's pretty common to get several claims from top PoE day 1. The problem with waiting until the very last minute for claims is that it just turns into a cfd fest and we might not get claims from other suspected players before having to lynch them
Make a bit more sense? I'm not going to about people claiming in general, but I am about PoE doing so. Here in an open set up it's a guaranteed clear of someone claims PR day 1. On any subsequent day it's not even a hard clear, though reading the finer print of the janitor it seems they need to fulfill some requirements to take the role claim
