OBD Convo #59: RealxEyes

Oh dear lord. :cat-stare:
  • One of the slowest characters in the game.
  • Most fiends that aren't elementals resist magic (especially late game).
  • Low HP stat practically makes her magic defence (her best stat) moot.
Yeah I could feel his pain the second I saw the title, Lulu is easily the weakest party member short of Kimahri. At least she has high evasion and a multi-hit overdrive, that's about all I can say for the group's Black Mage.

I get that most of the party members have that one category of fiend they work best against but Lulu is easily the one that feels the most like a one-trick pony. Good early game, peaks in the mid-game and falls off HARD towards the end. Certainly doesn't help that she becomes redundant the second you teach Yuna black magic as Yuna just does her job better. :mjha

Solo Sikoa: "You trying to screw over Jacob?"
Nick Aldis: "No Solo! YOU ARE!"

Honestly really liking this stuff with Solo, the dude is mad jealous but knows Jacob would have him for breakfast if he screwed him over directly, so he's trying to manipulate him into a bad situation so he loses the title without him having to get directly involved.

I'd like to remind everyone that WWE has and still hasn't debuted the near 7 ft Hikuleo, younger brother of Tama Tonga. All I'm saying is Solo's gonna need something to give him an edge when the inevitable Jacob vs Solo feud happens. :maybe

The full list of workers let go is as follows: Braun Strowman, Shayna Baszler, Dakota Kai, Kayden Carter, Katana Chance, Cora Jade, Gigi Dolin, Eddy Thorpe, Riley Osborne, Jakara Jackson, Wolfgang, Joe Coffey, Mark Coffey (thus ending Gallus as an ongoing concern on NXT programming), Ora Mensah and Javier Bernal.
DAMN, WWE is doing some heavy purging lately.

Honestly I understand most of these but Dakota Kai is a little head-scratching considering the fans were really starting to get behind her and were pushing for her to win the IC title. Bright side though, this SHOULD (fingers crossed) signal that Damage Control as a faction is DONE.

Iyo is currently more than proving that she doesn't need anybody, Asuka never did and now's the time (especially with her bulking up) to give Kairi a singles push on the main roster.

Braun Strowman is weird too considering his feuds with Bronson and Jacob were some of the highlights of the last year but perhaps the guy is just not up for it anymore.

The only one that's weird is Braun, but I understand the reasoning as much as I hate it. It just feels like you can still get a lot more out of him because he helped Jacob get over big. Also Bronson but who cares about him. That was a proper Vince release.

There was never anything special about Dakota. She never got over outside the internet. There are many better than her in the ring and on the mic. She's been banged up, is about to turn 37. Plus you have Roxanne, Giulia, Steph Vaquer, and now probably Mariah May about to come in. Easy cut.
