This is the first time in history that the fire starter has been the least appealing. I'd take the grass cat, though I have no doubt it'll evolve into something hideous later. I'm still mad about Litten. I'm surprised they went back to colour titles. There were so many non-colour possibilities: Pokemon Rock & Pokemon Roll, Pokemon Apples & Pokemon Oranges, Pokemon Sex & Pokemon Drugs, Pokemon Bros & Pokemon Hoes...they should let me name these things. I'll keep them going for centuries.

I've definitely been spoiled by Bloodborne. I'm playing too recklessly. And I miss not having to worry about equip load :catcry

Playing on PC, but it's hard to tell what's poor optimisation and what's my own poor setup because I'm running it on a 960 at low. I'm also getting a weird control issue where moving diagonally is oddly jerky, but that might be a controller problem. Never happened before on this thing, though. Game is good, but I'm not far in yet. I beat Margit (with a little difficulty), and explored most of the area before him. It really is just open-world Souls, and it works.

Also obviously Elden Ring I'm having a hard time making an attractive lady character in this (I'm sorry; an attractive "type B" character). It's definitely in character for me to spend an entire day just mulling over pointless cosmetic stuff in games like this, but it's frustrating when I want to get stuck in, find a greatsword somewhere and start being cool.

B5 and DS9 were pretty much developed concurrently, and given the amount of time behind-the-scenes development takes to get things from concept to ground, there's very little chance there was any actual copying going on. There's been animosity between fans of both over this ever since, but it really was almost certainly a coincidence. Both series play out very differently from that starting premise, regardless, and I'm more than glad we have both. Sounds like you're early in season 2, then. All of the best stuff is ahead. I definitely recommend getting back to it when you're up to it, if you can stomach just a little more elvishness. And those are some super heckin' cute bug girls.
