Oh, I know. My comment was more toward the insincerity of having an AI do it rather than the man himself(who obviously can't because the **** killed him). If it ain't the real person forgiving you for a heinous crime(or in an alt timeline in this case, an attempted one), it means absolutely nothing in terms of value. All it is, is a pathetic sight.

Now if I were in that man's position and managed to survive, the last thing I'd be doing is forgiving this guy. I'd want to beat his face in until it resembled mash potato for trying to murder me, but that's just me.
