    Look at Vbulletin and their default style lol it didn't age well, especially in their current version. I only trash talk XenForo's style system because it was based off Vbulletin (the creators of XenForo were ex-developers of Vbulletin). It's an archaic system in a sense because of how much CSS/JS is loaded and most of which is uncompressed, even on a Font Awesome level of unnecessary resource loading. They loaded up a bunch of unused FA icons, which reduces site performance because of the added resources, and so we installed an add-on that only loads XF icons that are actually used in our styles here.

    If you want more hands on, let me know, we have a lab, and you can have whatever access you need to play around with the style system. I like that design in your screenshot, it's definitely different, so I want to help you foster your skills with whatever I can do to actually help.
