Aerealis, The Sky-Shell
There is no warning. One moment, you’re staring at a wide expanse of blue sky — then the clouds shift, and something blots out the sun. A vast silhouette coasts overhead on wings as large as villages. Wind rushes downward, stirring grass, snapping banners, lifting hearts. You look up and see the Sky-Shell: Aerealis, the Lion Turtle of Air.
His back is a sanctuary of stillness, suspended among windstreams and drifting altitudes. The city atop his shell is open to the sky — no walls, no ceilings, no doors. Temples float between currents like wind chimes. Rope-bridges of silk thread connect lightstone platforms. Gardens grow from cloud-kissed soil, nourished by mist. Gliders spiral lazily in the air above, some meditating mid-flight, others simply drifting with joy.
Aerealis is a place for release — not just of gravity, but of burdens. Those who dwell here believe in shedding what weighs the spirit down: anger, fear, regret, attachment. The wind teaches that nothing remains still, but everything can be touched by peace. Those who listen to Aerealis’s breath say it speaks in questions, never answers. It asks: Who are you, when you are no longer holding on?
This is not a place you conquer. It is a place you let carry you.
Trial: The Breath of Release
- Ask the Admin/Mod: "I seek to let go and find the wind within." in a PM.
- Focus: Vow of silence, internal conflict resolution, letting go of fear or regret
- Admin/Mod Discretion: The Admin/Mod will select participants depending on various factors, including but not limited to RP participation, skill level etc.
- Limitations: Each Character may only take the trial once (successfully).
