Cassandra Nova (Deadpool and Wolverine) vs Scarlet Witch (MCU)

It's tough to gauge Nova in a fight like this since most of her best combat feats such as defeating Strange and Magento, happened off-screen and were merely mentioned. Skinning the Torch isn't anything worse than what Wanda did to Fantastic.

I'd side with Wanda here, I feel she has the better showings in about all departments. Killing Xavier when he tried entering her mind probably shuts down that option for Nova. She was able to transmute and brainwash and entire town into an old fashion sitcom before even reaching the height of her powers, while Nova can only control individual and needs direct contact to do so and was far more limited in scope of reality warping. She also destroyed the darkhold across the multiverse, if I'm recalling correctly.
 
Cassandra came off as more powerful to me

Since it’s implied she murdered Xavier, Strange, Magento, etc with ease

Wanda showed off more varied abilities

Scarlet Witch also murdered Xavier and single handedly destroyed Kamar-Taj. As well as slaughtered Reed Richards, Captain Marvel, Black Bolt, and Captain Carter in a 1v4. Her list of victims isn't losing out to Nova.

Nah, she’s definitely more powerful than the Illuminati. Those guys were massive jobbers
 
Wanda because of more feats, a variety of hax and we don't know how difficult of a time Cassandra had with Xavier or Strange where as Wanda had them running scared even when they had reinforcements. She straight up overpowered then took away Captain Marvel's powers before crushing her.
 
Cassandra was a cool villain. But Reality Warping >>>>> Telekinesis.
 
Defeating strange offscreen lsn’t something to write home about because while Strange can fight with Thanos w/ some infinity stones for a while he can also be a massive jobber who can lose to Ebony Maw for plot in Infinity War (who also has TK)

Kinda like how Kang says he killed all the Avengers in multiple timelines yet got btfo’d by fuckin Ant Man

What are Cassandra’s on-screen feats?
 
Tbf Maw is still powerful, he gets underrated a lot

Tony admitted he can’t beat him, and he did restrict Thor, so it’s not really a case of Strange jobbing

Right, aside from killing Magneto, Strange, Xavier, etc off screen

-TK (ragdolling Wolverine and Deadpool around, flaying Chris Evans Human Torch instantly, etc)
-TP (requires her to grab her opponent’s head tho)
-Healing factor (survived and healed instantly from everything short of a machine that was going to erase the entire multiverse out of existence, that wiped her out)
-so powerful that the Foxverse villains like Sabretooth, Juggernaut, Pyro, etc are all under her reign and can’t do anything about it
-too powerful for Wesley Snipes Blade, Channing Tatum Gambit, etc

That’s practically it from what I remember

He straight up died and got frozen when sent outer space by Spider-Man

Even a weakened Thor is able to survive that after getting stuck in the ship Thanos exploded and getting hit by Guardian’s space ship

Strange is objectively a glass canon, turned a black hole into butterflies yet got choked out by rebar


Honestly none of this is as impressive as Wanda 1v1’ing Thanos—who dogged Stormbreaker Thor and Captain America with Mjolnir—and winning so hard Thanos had to get outside help
 
That’s not a durability thing, Asgardians can just survive in the vacuum of space. That’s why he didn’t freeze up

The “vacuum” is referring ti the fact that there is literally the drop in pressure, lack of oxigen, etc

Dude didn’t die of hypoxia nor ebullism. He died because the temperature turned him into a popsicle.

Dude apparently can’t survive extreme temperatures, stronger characters generally can
