I'll be honest Doom is prepd for everything always like Thor and Cosmic Hulk jumping him and him proceeding to bitch slap them to him reflecting Nightmares reality warping and Cui'ng Brother Voodoo and the likes
dude needs no prep pretty much outside of like Secret Wars and big events like that

Yeah if this were someone like Sidious or GM Luke I might see them standing a chance but with Vader I don't see how he can beat Doom who has prepared himself to face worse threats.

IIRC Mortis was just a one-off power up (and scaled to Anakin rather than Vader).

Vader is stronger then Anakin. The issue is that Vader isn't on Mortis where he was manipulating the full power of the Force at the strongest nexus of Force energy in the universe.
