Seemed pretty close with high-end herald feats. Plus I like the theme (Nord hero vs Norse god) which honestly is the main reason I made this thread :cat

How's this one go? :hm

I haven't played any Elder Scroll, does Dragonborn have to keep up with Thor's speed?
Apparently he can grab arrows fired from Auriel's Bow, which itself can fire arrows that reach into the sun. Which is actually a hole leading outside Mundus and into Aetherius. Though he should be able to scale to other beings of a similar level and who have done similar stuff in the past.

Assuming they are of similar strength, Thor blitz him, weak versions of the god is capable to send Loki from Earth to Asgard in moments or throw his hammer galactic distances in short time frame.

Stars in TES aren't like normal stars, but iirc are actually holes into Aetherius that are an infinite distance away from Nirn, since space is actually Oblivion itself. Which itself is outside Mundus, the solar system/universe of TES. Several characters such as the Nord heroes in Sovngarde (which itself is within Aetherius) can also cross distances such as these.

@Stocking Anarchy would have the actual texts supporting this stuff and can also correct me on any of this.

The stars are tears in the fabric of space, which is infinite.

What is space?

Space is the interpretation of Oblivion, which is black and empty and surrounds the mortal plane. Space is infinite, but it acts just like a planet, in that Oblivion is 'surrounded' by Aetherius. You can see Aetherius by the stars.

What are stars?

The stars are the bridges to Aetherius, the magic plane. They are perceived as holes on the inside surface of space. Because they are on the inside of a sphere, all stars are equidistant from Nirn. Larger stars, therefore, are not closer to the mortal plane, they are just larger tears in Oblivion. The largest tear in Oblivion is Magnus, the sun.
We also do see non-equidistant stars in Skyrim and Legends curiously enough (which may be due to the above being how the infinite is perceived by a finite mind, and that Nirn itself is its own plane of existence within the Mundus.

Not sure about speed here. The Dovahkiin can at least compete with characters who can zip between Aetherius and Nirn. Which would actually make him faster than Thor.
