Elsword (엘소드, エルス) is a a free-to-play, 2.5D action MMORPG developed by the South Korean company KOG Studios. The game originally released in South Korea in December 27th, 2007, then in Taiwan & Hong Kong in 2009, Japan in 2010, North America & China in 2011, and Europe in 2013. The game was originally developed to be a spiritual successor to KOG Studios previous game, Grand Chase, before its was decided to be made into its own IP. This game would feature various expanded media such as manhwas, manga, anime, light novel, and more.

Players traverse the land of Elrios, defeating enemies and leveling-up to unlock new job classes and skills. As players explore the world, they travel to eighteen unique regions, most containing a "hub" town and around six dungeons. In towns, players can receive quests from NPCs, purchase items, and interact with other players. Dungeons are instanced, usually offering co-op play for up to four players in general dungeons, six players in raids, and eight players split into two parties of four in the new striker raids. Some dungeons feature branching paths, light puzzle-solving, and interactive elements such as collapsing buildings. The game also features a number of special dungeons.

Elsword is similar to other 2.5D beat 'em up action games while also containing elements of both RPG & MMORPG genres. Featuring skill-based action gameplay, role-playing elements, and community features such as guilds, chats, and item trading. In addition to these elements, there are also certain fighting game elements featured, such as having to properly execute combos within a specific range of their character.

As players play through the game and level up, different types of skills are automatically unlocked and can also choose skill traits for a skill (only Special Active, Active, and Buff), which grants additional buffs. These buffs include damage increase, mana usage decrease, and anti-mana break skill, with some cost, a sacrifice like cool down skill or mana usage increase.

Players can choose to be one of 14 available character classes, consisting of the main character Elsword, Aisha, Rena, Raven, Eve, Chung, Ara, Elesis, Add, Lu/Ciel, Rose, Ain, Lady, Noah, and Lithia. In addition to this, each of these classes have 4 subclasses each starting at level 15 called "Paths," which give each of the 14 classes different play styles, personalities, skills, and even different quest lines dedicated to each "Path". Complementing this, all classes, after being level 70, can advance to the "Transcendance mode" where they gain two new passives, one active, and three special actives and two additional skill slots.

Despite its heavily stylized, chibi look, the Elswordverse is very powerful, with a great example being the titular character of the game, Elsword. The younger brother of Elesis, Elsword is a youthful swordsman who trained with the knight of Velder at a young age to become as strong as his sister. His story would begin when he received a mission to restore the El as a member of the El Search Party.

The "Knight Emperor" Path is the first and canon path for Elsword, as its acquired in level 99, and Elsword managing to forge his own path away from his sister thanks to the help of his friends, the El Search Party. His feats and abilities are as follow:
  • He along with the El Search Party, manage to defeat Solance, El master of the Sun & one of the Six El Masters, who can create a pocket reality that contains numerous stars and even a black sun.
  • Due to natural resonance to El, he's able to enter "awakening mode," which he gains several skills and a general boost in power.
  • Awakening Mode: When he further his resonate with El, he's able to enter his awakening mode, where the bottom half of his eyes turn bright blue. His eyes turn entirely blue when he further resonates with El, especially during his usage of his skills, Absolute Judgement & Sword of the Sun - Solarius.
  • His most powerful attack is his hyperactive skill, Absolute Judgment, in which he uses all the El energy you've gain during the journey in one explosive strike that annihilates all enemies on the battlefield.

In spite of Elsword's canon path being the Knight Emperor, there exist three currently distinct paths that occurs that Elsword could take across the various timelines of Elsword. The most extreme and "dark" path out of Elsword is the Genesis Path.

The "Genesis" Path is the fourth path available for Elsword, being the most extreme and "dark" path for him to take, as it focuses on his choice to further explore his resonance with El, and as a result, he would gradually lose his memories, from his past, to even his own name. This would culminate with him restoring the El, as he chooses to fully embrace the power of the El, to become a guardian knight to solely focus on protecting El and the world.

Abilities: Having fully assimilated with the El, Elsword gains enormous amounts of El and various abilities at his disposal as the Judge of El.
  • HyperActive Skill (Dies Irae): Description- Day of judgement will arrive where El's Aspiration will bring divine judgement upon any corrupt being. In the name of the El, chains of judgement will bring divine retribution upon your enemies and annihilate any that goes against the noble aspiration.
    • (1:11-1:27)
  • Flare: Genesis Master skill, it can be upgraded up to stage 4, with the El's Aspiration will cause the condensed energy to explode. Rain down exploding spears of purification to bring divine judgement.
  • Retribution: Create en El Sigil in the air. Divine lightning will fall from the El's Sigil and strike nearby enemies.
  • No Mercy: A giant purifying blade will drop in a concentrated area to eliminate any corrupt being.

While I haven't played it myself, apparently the game is very heavy with the monetization and feature micro transactions, so I guess its up to you if you want to play it.

The "Aether Sage" Path is the first and canon path for Aisha, as this path focuses on his exceptional mastery of elemental magic as the elemental sage.
Aether Sage Background:
An Elemental Sage who awakened the power of the Aether, after achieving high-grade elemental magic during her past experiences. Aisha can't help but look back, thinking about the Ring if Mimir which took her power. 'It's not like me lingering like this!' Because she believes in her strength more than anything else, she decides to keep on moving towards higher ground. Aisha's knowledge and magical power have built up through all of her previous adventures, teaching her how to handle many elements at once. Understanding the extreme limitations of elemental magic, she eventually succeeds in unlocking the power of the Aether.

Abilities: As the Aether Sage, Aisha has the ability to fully control the elemental magic of fire, lightning, ice, earth, and water, allowing her access to potent elemental abilities.

  • Hyperactive skill (Aether Immersion): Cause an eruption by simultaneously casting all elemental magic.
  • Aether Splash: Cast an elemental spell with water and fire. Then, summon a large lightning spear and shoot it forward.An electric field will be formed where the lightning spear lands.

The "Metamorphy" path, is the third path available for Aisha, it is her most powerful path, as it stands out from her other paths by focusing on the "magical girl" aspect rather than one or set elemental magic.

  • Battle Magician Background:
    • A battle magician is a close-combat-oriented wizard who uses melee magic to release her own magical power, not the power of elements such as fire or ice. Although it cannot inflict damage far and wide compared to other elemental magic, it can transform into a state that can amplify magical power by using a magical pendant. The Magical Pendant allows Aisha to continuously use magic spheres, not fireballs, and makes her martial arts and magic circles stronger.
  • Dimension Witch Background:
    • A magician specializing in time and space magic and close-combat. Aisha tries to battle using only her physical abilites and pure magical strength, but hits a limit. The secretary of Feita, Allegro, informs her that an item called Moonstone should help increase her powers. With this information, Aisha imbues the power of Moonstone into her pendant, allowing her to use magic that controls time and space.
  • Metamorphy Background:
    • The most powerful magical girl in existence. After trail and error, Aisha discovers that she needs explosive energy in order to maintain distorted Time and Space, so she decides to unleash all her magic power. Now, Aisha transforms into her ultimate form, becoming the most powerful magical girl in the entire universe.

Here are some feats and statements for Aisha in this path that helps exhibits that kind of abilities, hax, and how powerful he really is:

  • Aisha is capable of manipulating space & time, while also using space-time magic effortlessly.
    • The strongest magical girl that makes space and time into her stage. A job that pulverizes enemies with explosive energy release and elegant close combat.

  • Capable of creating a big distortion in space and send the distorted space forward with Energetic Pump, while real shooting stars put from the moving space.


  • Hyperactive skill--My Magical Debut: Aisha transforms into an even more powerful form (Hyper) that grants additional attacks and increase her overall capabilities.

  • Aisha transcends her own causality due to releasing all the mana she stocked up over the course of her journey in the path, even creating her own new magic.
    • Mana she had stocked up from the journey thus far had been enough to complete the new magic. Transcending her own causality and becoming able to transform into her ultimate form, Aisha is born again into the strongest magical girl in the universe.

  • Aisha has control over spatial and temporal dimensions, stabilized and controlled space-time distortions across several universes and can destroy space-time.

The Herrscher Path, is the 3rd path available for Ain, as it focuses on his decent into madness as he gains more and more access to the power known as Henir.

  • Lofty Wanderer Background:
    • Ain starts to wander aimlessly within the terrible nightmare that haunts him. He continues to question the mission and the purpose of his existence that are becoming more meaningless. Ain experiences different situations and circumstances while traveling with Elsword and the El Search Party and meets many people in Elrios. Ain feels "anxiety" because of the El that's becoming further away from them due to unexpected events.This unfamiliar feeling starts to awaken the trace left in him from the rift of the Time and Space. Ain feels a great demonic aura from the Dark Forest he had to visit by Hoffman's request, and his inner anxiety turns into negative emotions such as fear and anger. These start to spread outside of him as well. Ain falls into a state of panic from the fear looming over him but regains his consciousness thanks to El Search Party's calling. He tries to look for a way to calm the chaos, fearing that he might not be able to fulfill his mission in this state. He even gets help from the humans and tried a Nasod mechanism that uses El as its power source, but it could not gauge the chaos that had grown uncontrollably, which only continues to grow.When Ain's anxiety reaches its peak, he asks for an answer from the Goddess, but he does not hear any reply. Ain feels even greater despair from not being able to reach the Goddess, and the seed of chaos inside manifests. When he is enveloped by the chaos, the power of creation that God had given him becomes corrupted; the body that was given to him to fulfill the mission begins to crumble and shatter.
  • Apotasia Background:
    • Betrayer of the goddess and Ruler of the Abyss. In order to fulfill his mission, Ain endures the pain of his body crumbling to pieces. He believes getting in contact with the goddess would make everything better, but he loses his faith in the goddess completely, when he witnessed the supposed perfect creation of the goddess, El, become corrupted to be reborn as the Dark El. Ain becomes consumed by the chaos and realizes that in the end , everything is ephemeral. Ain now embraces chaos and becomes Ruler of the Abyss.
  • Herrscher Background:
    • Master of Void, end of all things. The moment Ain abandons his meaningless form, he feels true freedom. That moment, Ain realize that it is his calling to guide others to follow his path. He is now a vestige of chaos, Master of Void, who now guides the pitiful to his realm of Chaos and Void.

Here are the feats, abilities, and statements for Ain during the "Herrscher" Path:
  • Starting from Lofty: Wanderer, Ain is already capable of rupturing time and space and materialize Henir's chaos to attack using Verzweiflung.


  • Lofty: Wanderer is able to weaken an enemy's will and bend them to his will through the twisted power of creation using Geist Herrschaft.

  • Is able to use Alptraum, which absorbs the surrounding energy, especially El energy, into a corrupting force. After a period of time, the corrupted gathered energy explodes, however, the remnants of this corrupt energy floats around and deal damage on contact.

  • As Apotasia, Ain is able to use Ende Der Welt to summon a massive scythe that can rip entire dimensions apart and open a fissure into the nether reaches of Henir.

  • Apotasia Ain is able to use Mauer to expand the surrounding space and open a rift in the dimensions to conjure a force field that returns a portion of incoming damage to the attacker.

  • Apotasia can use Abgrund to distort reality and corrupt your surroundings with the power of Henir. Unleash fragments of the broken space in frenzied chaos.


  • Can use Fesseln to latch a bonding chain at the enemy made of concentrated Henir to take the enemy's vital force.

  • Can use Brechen to hurl deadly fragments imbued with the power of chaos.The fragments explode on contact and enemies within a certain range will be infected by chaos. After a certain duration, the chaos will explode and cause another infection leaving dark chaos on enemies within the range.


  • Ain will obliterate foes with a single swing of a weapon created from his inner confusion, doubt and the power of Henir's chaos with Gottvergessen Sense.



  • As Apotasia gradually transforms into Herrscher, he becomes the ruler of the abyss, the being that returns everything to its perfect state: absolute nothingness.
    • Background Nexon Version:
    • When Ain sorts out his chaotic emotions, he abandons the Goddess and his mission, replacing them by fully accepting the chaos of Henir that has been eating away at him all this time. In the center of the storm of chaos, Ain becomes the absolute ruler of the Void who returns everything to its perfect state: nothing.

  • Can use Leere to create a seed of chaos in the fabric space that inflicts a deafening void to its victim.

  • After becoming Herrscher, Ain becomes one with Henir, thus being omnipresent and existing in a void dimension of his own creation while not existing at the same time.
    • Background Nexon Version:
    • "Are you done hesitating...? Then, come with me" Reborn from the void, master of the void, who calls everything to his side. A job that suppresses enemies with endless chaos, and purges everything with the power of the void. Ever since he denied the Goddess, Ain had aimlessly annihilated everything in his path. Even his physical body was a meaningless existence created by the Goddess. By shredding off the shell of his physical body, he becomes a true, complete master of the void. The freedom he felt from abandoning everything that had restrained him. This sensation was the true salvation, the destination of all existence must turn to. The master of the void decided to use the shell that he had discarded. It was a remanant of chaos, that could no longer be called an existence of this world. "At the end of everything... Here I stand." The master of the void, who exists everywhere but exists no where, decided to look after the pitiful creations, and begins to guide them to the territory of the void through his remnant of chaos.

  • As Herrscher, Ain has complete control over Henir's Realm, the realm of nothingness which is stated to be the beginning and end of all things, the end of everything as well as the destination all of existence must turn and return to, all of existence being composed of countless and possibly infinite timelines.

  • Using Schweigen, he's able to create a realm of chaos through gathering chaos that forms from the ground, then when he cuts it, the realm disappears and results in the void expanding, until the realm closes, dragging any enemy into an inescapable realm of extinction and nothingness.

  • Able to use Reflexion to encapsulate the energy from the corrupted power of creation to create Reflex Spheres

Within the El Search Party, the fourth character to join the group over the course of their adventure is Raven Cronwell.

Background (Nexon Version):
A part of the body has been modified into a Nasod. He uses a powerful attack using a mechanical arm and swift swordsmanship using a long sword. He doesn't talk much, and has a cold personality, and a great desire for revenge against humans, but he has a warm human heart inside. Raven, who rose to the rank of commander of the mercenary knights, despite his status of commoner, was framed by envious nobles and loses everything. A messenger of King Nasod finds him, and the King Nasod gives a new life. He burns with a sense of betrayal against the Velder Kingdom and with revenge. Afterwards, feeling responsible for the chaos in the world created by his vengeance, he decides to help Elsword and the others.

Out of the 4 path available to him, the one that prioritizes his own skills rather than his Nasod arm is his 1st Path, "Furious Blade."

The Furious Blade path, is the 1st path available for Raven, as it focuses on his skills as a swordsman, forsaken the overuse of his Nasod arm.
  • Sword Taker Background:
    • A swordsman that specializes in speed and technique. Raven concentrated on training his sword technique which helped him survive. He created a sword style that fits his current body and trained in it to the point that he is comparable to before his modifications in both power and speed.
  • Blade Master Background:
    • If the goal is to become righteous, then the path towards that goal should also be a righteous one. As part of atonement, Raven focuses on his sword technique, strictly controlling his Nasod Arm. His signature swift movements and attack divulge from using brute strength. Instead, enemies are caught unawares by his subtle attacks, which are still powerful enough to cut through steel.
  • Furious Blade Background:
    • A job class that leaves his Nasod body parts behind to reach new heights as a human swordsman. The lingering memories of his past human self, hinder Raven from furthering advancement in his craft. "If I were to regain my fully human body..., perhaps I'll be able to bring my swordsmanship to another level." To reach the epitome of swordsmanship, Raven remodels his Nasod arm to be almost identical to his other, still-human, arm.
Here are the feats, statements, and abilities for Raven during the "Furious Blade" Path:

  • Raven as Sword Taker, is able to perform "Hypersonic Slash", allowing him to dash forward and unleash a fury of piercing slashes. The piercing slashes also ignore a set amount of enemies’ defense.


  • As he further develops his swordsmanship skills to become Blade Master, he gains the skill to summon a small black hole to hold the enemy while launching 4 consecutive slashes, then finishes by detonating the black hole.

  • Blade Master develops his skills so much, that he can use the "Extreme Blade" technique to execute a high-speed sword technique that slices through space and darkness.

  • He' able to perform the technique "Rising Dance", which has him kick the ground to jump and perform a barrage of sword aura to annihilate his foes.


  • Raven can use one of his special moves, "Sharp Charge", which has him perform a giant slash that deals large damage to nearby enemies.

  • Blade Masters swordsmanship has develop to such an extent that he's able to perform "Cut Tendon", which allows him to slash the enemies' tendons to stop them from running.


  • In the official Elsword webtoon, Blade Master is able to split a mountain with his shockwave skill.

  • Upon reaching new heights of human swordsmanship by becoming the Furious Blade, Raven is able to perform Shockwave-Cutter, which has him perform a supersonic slash that generates multiple shockwaves which penetrates through enemies.

  • With his mastery of the blade, Raven is able to perform his second powerful attack, "Atomic Cutting", which has him shred through enemies with supersonic speed. The fine swordsmanship will disintegrate enemies at an atomic level.

  • Through the culmination of his struggles, swordsmanship and acceptance of his Nasod hand, Raven is able to perform his most powerful move, the HyperActive "Final Blade", which has him perform a supersonic blade technique with the new nasod hand.

The most mature and beautiful among the El Search Party. With the connection to the spirit world growing ever weaker, Rena is determined to restore the power of El to restore that connection back to normal. She feels the El resonating from the El tree of Ruben Village so she goes to investigate.

The Prophetess Path, is the 4th and latest path that Rena could take, as it focuses on Rena's exploration of the spirits language, being mediator of the spirit world, and utilizing their power to deliver the voices of the world.

  • Poetic Ranger Background:
    • Mediator of the Spirit Realm who utilizes the power of spirits imbued in words. Rena noticed that the spirits decided to hide away from humans and decide to become the mediator between the spirit realm and Elrios to rekindle the link between spirits and humans. As she recorded the spirit's voices in written form, Rena notices her words begin to gain the power of spirits and decide to embark on a journey as a mediator using this power.
  • Tale Spinner Background:
    • A bard who combines the language of the spirits with melody. As she continued to record the voices of the spirits, Rena wondered about the mysteries of the language and meets up with an ancient language expert in Feita to decipher the language. That's when she learns that the language gains more power when melody and chord is added. With the few combinations and patterns she found, Rena made the song of spirits and becomes a bard who heals people’s hearts and support allies in the battlefield.
  • Prophetess Background:
    • The prophet who reads the repeating flow of history and delivers the voice of the world. Her senses became more acute in Elriabrunnr. The spirits’ voices have become clearer than ever. Now, Rena could see that everything in the world had patterns and flow, just like how words had rhyme and rhythm. With newfound power, came newfound responsibility. For the spirits who came to her, her friends, and all the connections she made, Rena gladly accepted the responsibility. With her senses and the wisdom of the spirits, she will become the prophet that foresee dangers and lead the world. Rena's song becomes the opening to a new era.

Here are some of the abilities and statements that Rena has during the "Prophetess" path.

  • As Poetic Ranger, Rena is able to channel the energy and power of spirits through recording the spirits voices to gain their power.
    • Rena began to record the voices of the spirits to fulfill her role as a mediator when she realizes that the words, as they are being written down, begin to gain power of the spirits. This was a phenomenon she never heard of before, even back in Ruben. Rena focuses on these findings and begin her journey as Poetic Ranger, the mediator that uses the power of spirits.-- (Poetic Ranger: Class Advancement 4/4)

  • Rena is able to use Recite, allowing for the letters of the spirit language within the scroll to be shoot out of the pages with them being imbued by the power of the spirits.

  • Poetic Ranger Rena is able to use Expansion, which allows her to shoot arrows imbedded with the power of Spirits, then the power will expand where the arrow passes and create a field of spirits. Enemies within the field will receive damage.

  • After honing her skills in spirit language, Rena transforms her bow with a bard and becomes Tale Spinner, allowing her to use Swing, which grants her the ability to move much more swiftly ahead surrounded with blessing of spirits and leave traces where you pass.

  • Tale Spinner Rena is capable of using "Tuning", allowing for her to materialize the voices of the Spirits through her melody, tuning the discordant with the melody of the bard lets the voices of the spirits echo through the world.

  • Tale Spinner is able to use Dal Segno to use the aura of the spirits to zoom back and forth, as if following a repeating melody. Trace of Spirits will remain where the aura of spirits zoomed by to deal damage.

  • Tale Spinner is able to use her most powerful move, hyperactive move "Brilliante", to release a melody that'll cause the spirits to dance in tune with the sound of the strings. The melody and the chord come together and make the power of the spirits bloom.

  • In her Transcendence state, Tale Spinner is able to use the aura of the spirits with pure heart to march forth, resulting in the power of the spirits to move with the rhythm and resonate like music with "Lyrical Flow."

  • Upon advancing, Rena becomes the "Prophetess", the prophet that's stated to read the repeating flow of history and delivers the voice of the world.

    • The prophet who reads the repeating flow of history and preaches the voice of the world. Share the spirits' voices as written symbols and songs, and with the power imbued in them, help everyone.

    • The Knight always at the frontlines of the battlefield. Elesis needed to be a free knight in order to seek demons. She is acknowledged by the Royal Guards for her skill and becomes a Saber Knight. With the support from Velder Kingdom, Elesis begins her journey to seek out demons' trace.

    • A knight that controls the battlefield with her charisma and sword. While on the heels of some demons in the battle at Feita, Elesis learns of the need of well coordinated strength of the many over individual power. Elesis ends up taking on the role to train and command the Velder Knights stationed at Feita. This allowed her time to reflect upon herself as a knight as well. She now yearns to reach new heights as the Grand Master, the representative knight of Velder.

  • 3rd Job: Empire Sword
    • Background:
    • A noble knight of Velder that leads the people with her charisma. As the surrounding expectations towards her kept getting higher, Elesis feels her sword also become heavy with duties and responsibilities. However, it is this expectation that gives her strength. Elesis becomes the ultimate symbol of victory, to the point her enemies would lose the will to fight. There is no such thing as defeat for Elesis of the Red Knights.

The Empire Sword Path, is the first and canon path for Elesis, focusing on her time in the nation of Velder. Here are some of the abilities and statements that are associated with her in this path.

  • Saber Knight Noteworthy Skills and statements:
  • As Saber Knight, Elesis is able to charged her sword to perform "Saber-Extinction" allowing her to swing her sword to create a beam slash.
  • Elesis can perform the move "Triple Sonic" to swing her sword in supersonic waves.
  • Saber Knight can use "Sword of Judgement" to strike enemies with a stunning slash then finish them off with a strong final slash.
  • Elesis can also perform "Leap" to help her move in longer distances, can also leap further distance if she dashes.

  • Grand Master Noteworthy Skills and Statements:
  • Grand Master Elesis is able to call forth a massive blade to not only extend her attacks, but also enhance certain skills with "Sword of Victory."
  • Can strengthen herself and her allies while damaging and weakening enemies with "War Prelude."
  • Elesis can quickly Jab at enemies 3 times with "Point Jab" with the third one causing them to be unable to dash.
  • In her transcendence state, Grand Master can use "giga blast" to use large sword aura to pierce ahead and summon many falling swords.
  • Can slam the ground with 3 Swords of Victory with "Divine Blade."
  • Grand Master can use her hyperactive attack, "Sword of Relics" to create a gigantic summoning circle to summon a gigantic suppressing Sword of Victory.

  • As Empire Sword, Elesis can use "[Mod] Sword of Judgement" to commence final judgement with a powerful downward strike.

Out of everyone within the El Search Party, one of the most recent but perhaps one of the most interesting characters within this group of fellow adventurers is the 14th member, Noah Ebalon.

Background:
  • He handles a Sickle as his main weapon and uses the power of the moon and darkness, which have been corrupted by experiments.He was originally docile and passive, but after a series of incidents, he became pessimistic and easily depressed. He is the second son of the Elabon family, one of the historic families of Elrainode. He lost his older brother to the Henir Order and for a long time lost his memory. After the great El explosion, he was sealed in a certain ruins, but wakes up in the ruins belatedly affected by the Elrainode restoration. He adds the destructive power of the Sickle through his quick mobility, handles the ‘Power of Shadow’, the power of transmuted darkness, and controls it with the method of using the moonstone passed down in the Elabon family.
Here are the abilities and statements that apply for base Noah:
  • As a wilder of shadow and darkness magic, Noah is able to cloak himself in darkness while tackling enemies, sending a shadow to create a spinning sawblade.
  • Can use "Moon Shadow" to create a shadow to leave behind to evade enemy attacks.
  • Is able to perform "Dark Moon" by gathering dark energy and combining it with the moon stone to make it rise as the Dark Moon.
  • Noah can perform "Chilling Crescent" which has him channel the chilling moon energy that uses the moon stone to create a energy slash resembling a crescent moon.
  • Noah is also able to use the technique "The Hour Between Dog and World," where he can form the "twilight hour" in which time moves slow but flows fast.

Out of 4 available paths for Noah, the focus is going to be on Noah's first path, "Liberator."

    • Background (Nexon Version):
      • Immediately after waking up in the ruin, Noah realizes his body is not how it used to be. Was everything just a dream? No, but he could tell by how his body struggled to keep up with his usual battle style, that none of this was just a simple nightmare. Attempting to regain his familiar senses through battle, he tries to figure out the reason why he has reawakened. He lost his brother, and lost the place he was meant to stand in. He believed that himself, a son of the Ebalon family, was among those that were lost in the El Explosion. He was left with nothing but the grief of losing his brother and the guilt of being the only survivor. Suddenly, he realizes there's only one path he could take. There was no need to search for a reason in the first place. He already knew the only thing a survivor could do. Take revenge. And through revenge, he will comfort his brother's soul. He believes that no matter how many times he has to go through the same thing, it is his only purpose and reason to live.

      • His usual senses in battle are quickly returning as he pushes his body to its limit. However, he's been struggling to properly use the Power of Shadow, a corrupted power of darkness.Up until now, he has adopted his family's method of controlling the moonstone to keep it in check, but using a power that could run rampant at any time was too great of a risk.He successfully finds a clue to controlling this power thanks to Clamor's help, but after an incident that happens shortly after, he's devastated and loses his faith in him. What went wrong? Perhaps thinking everything he does would go well was foolish. Though he was distraught, he realized what he felt wasn't a betrayal, but a loss. After 500 years, the world he knew felt like clothes that didn't fit him. He had avoided befriending anyone, believing he didn't belong in this world. He could do nothing but admit that he found comfort in Clamor's presence, who was in a similar situation as him. He was someone he identified with; someone who sympathized with his loneliness, and understood his fear. Before he knew it, he had considered him his friend he could rely on. Determined to move on, he applies the clue from the laboratory on his power, and succeeds in drawing out power similar to the moonstone used by his family.

      • "There is no duty or responsibility. This is my will." A journey for revenge. He pushed himself to come this far with the resolve to exact vengeance on the Henir zealot who destroyed the world and murdered his brother. He knew it was pointless to torment himself with figuring out why he was the only survivor. However, thanks to everything he's experienced so far, he realizes that he cannot go on without his own goal. Noah knew from the beginning that his brother wouldn't want revenge, but without that goal, he would've been lost, without a reason to live. His kind-hearted brother became a safe haven for him even until the last moment, but now that he's remembered the sincerity his brother tried to teach him, and realizing this repetition isn't a curse but a chance, he couldn't stay a child any longer. Although he lived through a time that wasn't his own because of a goal that wasn't his, the struggles he went through and the bonds he made are his own. He no longer wants to lose what's precious to him. To protect what he has right now, and to make sure no one suffers the same fate as him, the goal he must walk toward became clear. "I will make sure this tragedy will not be repeated — that is my choice and my will." Facing the truth, and freeing himself from the pressure of revenge, he becomes a master of the shadow who unveils darkness by his own will.

The Abilities and Statements that apply to Noah's path from Second Revenger, Silent Shadow, and then finally Liberator:
  • As Second Revenger, Noah can use the move "Obsidian Moon" allowing him to apply the endless darkness became lightless obsidian.
  • Noah can cast the power of darkness in the surrounding area, not miss even the slightest movement, and will chase the enemy down to eliminate them with "Slice and Dice." With Obsidian Darkness, a shadow will attack the area at the same time.
  • Noah can imbued his sickle with the power of darkness to cut an opening in space with "Instant Opening." With Obsidian Darkness, shadow will attack the opening at the same time, ignoring durability.
  • Noah can drag enemies to him by casting crescent moon energy that ensnares the enemies ahead with "Ensnare."
  • Noah can swiftly pierce and slash through the enemies before they can feel the pain with "Dark Whisper."

  • After Progressing to Silent Shadow, Noah is capable of performing the midair move "Boundary," allowing him to keep guard and make sure enemies cannot approach any further.
  • Silent Shadow is also able to use the technique "New Moon's Shadow" to cause the shadow that envelops everything, a shadow's moon arise. With Obsidian Darkness the shadow will spread from all sides and come back.
  • Noah can use "Dream Eater" to cause the shadow to entwine an enemy and seep in. Is this encroaching darkness merely a dream?
  • Noah can use "Pursuit" to have the shadow chase the enemy in pursuit under your command. The pursuit strike will ignore a set amount of enemies’ defense.
  • In his transcendence state, Silent Shadow Noah is able to perform "Chilling Edge" to use the blade made with the darkest shadow to attack the enemy that will even freeze the soul.
  • Noah can perform "Mirage" allowing to move in swift, stealthy movement like a mirage, seemingly realistic, but ungraspable. Enemies hit by Mirage will have Defense decreased for a set duration.
  • Noah can cast "Silent Abyss" a Silent Space that has the shadow move forward and rip the space. A shadow will emerge from the ripped space to attack the enemy, with Obsidian Darkness, an additional shadow will fall to deal with the enemy.
  • Using "Shadow Fang," Noah can cast the shadow to scratch and maul the enemy under your command to reveal a world of Obsidian Darkness.
  • Silent Shadow Noah can perform his most powerful move, Hyperactive skill "Devoured Moon," to have the dark shadow swallows the unfamiliar moon. The twisted past and despair engraved on the moon cracks and fades away with the power of the shadow.Afterwards, the shadow devours the moon completely and the moon shatters completely.

  • After developing to his 3rd job, Liberator, Noah can perform all the abilities and techniques as his previous jobs.
  • Noah is now capable of using "[Mod] Boundary" to imbue shadow energy on both sides. When the energy goes through the enemy, shadow crystals will emerge to strike the enemy.
  • Noah can perform "[Mod] Silent Abyss," to make a blade of silence that will appear from the ripped space and move forward, leaving a dark shadow. With Obsidian Darkness, a shadow shoots shadow energy from the ripped space.
  • Noah can use the midair technique "[Mod] Rupture" to spin his body as he shoot forward and strike enemies with the blade of the sickle.
  • Noah can fire dark energy ahead to deeply wound the enemy.
  • Noah can perform "[Mod] Needle Ice," to have the shadow explode to turn into 'Needle Ice'. While Needle Ice is maintained, shadows will appear where the enemies are hit for an additional attack.
  • Liberator Noah can perform his second strongest move "The End" that has the shadow guides the enemies to their eternal slumber.
  • After completing his Master Class, Noah can perform his strongest attack "Moon Eclipse," that has him in the 4th stage, summon a silver moon that envelops the shadow, and from the deepest darkness, a moon shadow will rise. The shadow that covers the moon will then chase the enemies that disrupts its rest. When the shadow completely envelops the moon, the moon shadow will turn red. The shadow will send the enemies to rest in peace.

    • Background:
      • One who escaped from his past to select a new life. Though he was confused to suddenly wake up in the past, Noah hopes for a better future, as he manages to meet Clamor and save Yuria unlike in the past. With a bond that rose between him and Clamor, Noah decides to choose a life he wants instead of living for revenge. Encouraged by Clamor, Noah decides to learn magic from him.

      • Astrologist who predicts his own destiny. Noah was attacked at Rosso's lab and was suddenly sent to the past. Despite his despair at suddenly finding himself in the past, Noah manages to use the relic deep within the Temple of Time to go to the past at Seven Tower where Clamor resides. Noah decides to remain in the past for a long time to study the sun, the moon, the universe, and his power of time.

In pursuit of giving his first companion a corporeal body he can move freely, Noah successfully manages to turn Clamor's soul into spirit form after dedicated research. When he obtained the power of Celestia, the time entwined with Clamor's memory influences Noah to become more mature in both body and mind. With new found maturity, Noah forges his path as the observer of constellations with his partner.

The Celestia Path, is the second path that's available for Noah, that focus on him letting go of his revenge and choosing a new life, further developing his relationship with Calmor and becoming an Astrologist.

Here are the abilities and statements that apply to Noah from Second Selection, to Stellar Caster, and then Celestia:

  • As Second Selection: Noah replaces his assassin fighting style with a more magician approach, better exemplified than with "Horoscope," by obtaining the power of astrology, he can contain zodiacs into cards to use its power. Can use the [Circulation] system to enhance skills and use the [Aquarius] card.

  • Noah can use "Radix" to summon a falling star.

  • Noah can perform "Mutual Reception" to create star barrier to shield from attacks, if an attack happens while in defense stance, the barrier will react and push back and knockdown the enemy.

  • Noah can cast "Galaxia" to project the galaxy through the sickle. The projected galaxy will entwine together, spin, and explode.

  • Noah can use "Natal Chart" to read the stars to predict the target's future.

  • Noah can create an Eye of Dawn in the galaxy that rains down countless meteors with "Eye of Dawn."

  • Noah can adjust the orbit of the planets and enter brilliantstate using "Retrograde."

  • Noah can summon the small star at the center of the night sky using "Polaris," which shines blindingly bright, enemies hit by the light will be confused.

  • Noah is able to perform "Curtain Call" to swing his sickle to create a curtain embroidered with stars to attack.

  • After evolving into Stellar Caster, Noah can use "Stella Dust" to sprinkle Stella dust in his path as he moves forward, which can also be used in midair.

  • Noah can enhance his body with blessings from the stars with "Orion."

  • Performing "Star Coaster" Noah can connect the stars and create a zodiac in his image.A star will move in a path connected by the stars and will damage enemies in its path.

  • Noah can perform "Serpentarius" to summon an emerge galaxy right before him, enemies within the galaxy will be swept by starlight. (Can also be activated midair)

  • Stellar Caster Noah can summon the "Ancient One" a giant, ancient star from a galaxy far, far away. The ancient star will move very slowly and will be intact until it hits the ground.The ancient star will explode upon hitting the ground and deal damage to the surrounding area with its shards.

  • Noah can cast "Nebula" by throwing 3 Stella dice to create a nebula. A nebula with a different effect will emerge from each Stella dice.

  • Noah is capable of performing "Deimos Phobos" to summon the twin moons, Deimos and Phobos. The two moons will revolve around each other to strike enemies.

  • In his transcendence state, Stellar Caster Noah can perform "Beyond" to charge ahead and throw Stella dice in a fan shape while having super armor.

  • Noah can use the skill "Horary" to use the present to create an astrology sign that foresees the future.

  • Can use "Zodiac" to create an accretion disk out of zodiacs. A pillar of creation will shoot out from the center of the accretion disk.


  • Noah can observe the planets that endlessly orbit around space to incite curiosity about the great beyond.


  • Stellar Caster Noah is able to use his move powerful move, Hyperactive Skill "New Eden" to make a whole new universe by observing the cycle of stars faintly with Clamor to create one.

  • After becoming a master of Astrologist by becoming Celestia, Noah is stated to be an observer of the constellations who transcends space and time.

  • Celestia can drop a small android on enemies that moves slowly and has hitstun, allowing you to trap enemies within the falling direction.

  • Celestia can summon the Ancient One once more through "[Mod] Ancient One" this time the ancient star will move quickly ahead, and deal explosion damage to enemies upon contact.

  • Using "[Mod] Radix" Noah can install a devastating star, with the star exploding upon contact.

  • Noah can summon the twin moons, Deimos and Phobos with "[Mod] Deimos Phobos" allowing the two moons to shoot in both directions to devastate enemies.

  • Noah can throw 3 Stella dice to create a nebula with "[Mod] Nebula." A nebula with a different effect will emerge from each Stella dice.

  • Noah is able to connect the stars and create a zodiac in Clamor's image with "[Mod] Star Coaster." A star will move in a path connected by the stars and will damage enemies in its path.

  • Noah is able to use "[Mod] Serpentarius" to summon a galaxy that emerges in a diagonal shape around you. The galaxy will be swarming with stars.


  • Through his deepening bond with Calmor and his development as an Astrologist, Noah can use his move powerful move, "Luminary" to resonate the universe with the harmony between the sun and the moon to achieve a Golden new form. While resonating with Clamor, the Harmony symbol will form upon successful attack

  • Through developing his knowledge of Astrology, Noah can perform the everevolving Master Class Skill "Sirius," with the 4th stage having him create the Isis star overhead. Isis begins to emit light.Five planets orbit around Isis and Sothis appears to attack the enemies.
