Ember Islands
The Ember Islands are a chain of tropical islands characterized by volcanic beaches with black and red sands, surrounded by lush jungles and rocky peaks. The islands are known for their fertile soil, enriched by past volcanic eruptions, which supports dense vegetation and diverse wildlife. Lava flows occasionally cut through the jungle, creating a unique landscape of fire and greenery. The islands are a popular retreat for those seeking to train, meditate, or find solitude amidst nature. Firebenders can attune themselves to the rhythmic flows of lava and the humid air, enhancing their connection to their element. In a small cove on the largest of the Ember Islands you will find the largest settlement, Sunharbor, of about 300 people, a collection of fishermen and farmers cultivating and living off the land.Effects on Region:
