Grand Magic Games


Starting day 1, each day phase will commence the beginning of a new [Grand Magic Game].

All players can optionally join these games if they so desire to compete with the other players and upgrade their roles. Each game will outline clearly the win/pass condition of the game. Players who win a game will promote to the next class, while players who fail will remain in their current class.

You will keep all of your previous abilities and upgrades when you climb to a new class. Your role simply gets stronger.

This thread should ONLY be used for [Grand Magic Games] discussion and nothing else. You may use this thread to wifom, distract, mess around with your opponents, or simply coordinate strategy with other players to win the games. I leave that all to you to mess with.

Day 1 Game - Hidden

​

In this cycle, each player is given 3 large identical large boxes: Box 1, Box 2, and Box 3, and given a clone of themselves. During the first 24 hours of day 1, each player must submit in their role PM to hide themselves in one of the boxes, their clone in another box, and leave one box empty. If no submission is made within the first 24 hours, you will instantly fail the game and remain Unranked cycle 1.

After the first 24 hours, Each player is given 5 Attack Shots that they can take throughout the day in this thread by typing [Shoot PlayerName Box#].

If you shoot a box where a player is hidden, you will gain 2 points and that player will lose 1 point.
If you shoot a box where a clone is hidden, you will lose 1 point and that player will gain 1 point.
If you shoot an empty box, you just waste your attack.

A player may use all 5 shots if they want or use as many of them as they like. Sometimes using fewer shots may be more beneficial if you are afraid of shooting a clone. By the end of the day, all points gained by the players will be tallied and revealed, and the top 50% of players will all pass and advance to the next class, while the bottom 50% remain in their current class.

Due to the delay in the game start, the first part of this game will last 24 hours, during which players will hide themselves and their clones in the provided boxes. The second part of the game will take the remaining time of the day where players may shoot other players' boxes. If you have any questions about the game. Please consult me in Role PM.

Day 2 Game - Naval Battle

Day 2's [Grand Magic Game] is Naval Battle!

All players in the game are battling amongst themselves inside a large bubble of water... but don't worry... you can all breathe just fine inside of it cuz of a buff I gave you ~

The goal of this game is to remain inside that bubble until the end of the day to pass... very simple!! or is it....


Rules:
- All players in the game will start the day inside the large bubble
- All players have 2 action attempts they can carry this day: to Push or Defend
- Players may type [Push PlayerName] in this thread to attempt to push that player outside of the bubble
- Players may type [Defend PlayerName] in this thread to attempt to grant that player a shield that negates the next push attempt against them
- Players only have 2 action attempts. They may push twice, defend twice, or push once and defend once
- You may not defend yourself
- At the end of the day, a large tidal wave will strike, pushing all unshielded players outside of the bubble

Game 2 Win Condition - Remain inside the bubble until the end of the day.

But that's not all, you see... Since you are taking actions against other players, your actions have to come with risks and consequences.

Each time you post a Push or Defend action in this thread, after you make the post, click edit on it and throw a 10 face dice as follows:

Then in the bottom left of the edit panel click 'Throw dice':

Then use the following format to push or defend a player and throw 1 roll of dice of 10 faces then click save:

When Pushing, roll 1 dice of 10 faces:
- If you roll 6,7,8,9, or 10 - The push is Successful. Your target is kicked out of the bubble and instantly loses the game if they were unshielded, otherwise, their shield is destroyed if they had one. You will automatically shield yourself if you knock a target out.
- If you roll 3,4, or 5 - The push is Unsuccessful. This attack will not kick a player out of the bubble, BUT it will destroy their defense if they had one up. You may attempt to push the same player again. The next time you push the same player again, the attack will be successful if you roll a 4 or higher.
- If you roll 1 or 2 - The push is Countered. The target of the push reflected your push back to you and you are kicked out of the bubble instead. The target will then automatically be alerted and shield themselves after countering the attack.

When Defending, roll 1 dice of 10 faces:
If you roll 4,5,6,7,8,9, or 10 - The defense is Successful. Your target will receive a shield stopping the first push attempt on them.
If you roll 1,2, or 3 - The defense is Unsuccessful. Nothing happens to you or your target. You just waste an action attempt.

The posts automatically get saved after rolling, but usually takes some time so it's preferred to click save immediately.
If I catch anyone trying to cheat the game they will be immediately disqualified.

Magic Game 3 - Pandemonium

The Pandemonium is a mysterious dungeon that hosts 100 dangerous mythical monsters inside of it.

Each player in this day gets to pick the number of monsters out of 100 that they want to fight. If they defeat that number, they will gain that number as points.

Rules:
- Each player must make a post and pick a number from 1 to 100 in that post.
- Each player will then roll one dice of 100 faces in that post.
- If the number you roll is greater than the number you picked, you will get points equal to the number you picked.
- If the number you roll is less than the number you pick, you will obtain 0 points.
- If the number you roll is the same as the number you pick, you will obtain points equal to half the number you picked.

- Each player will have 3 attempts to gather as many points as they can. This means each player can pick 3 numbers and roll 3 times.
- The total number of points you accumulate will be your points for this day.

- In short, this is not a mere game of luck, but also how confident or greedy are you in your luck.
- If anyone is caught editing their fighting post other than to roll a dice, they will be immediately disqualified.

Game Win Condition: Score among the top 50% of points obtained.

Special Game Condition: The first 4 players to obtain a total of 100 points or more will be guaranteed to pass today and the Magic Game will terminate immediately.


There will be an additional Magic Game tonight as a follow-up to this game, for another chance to gain a class this cycle if you failed to gain one today!

MPF is a simple device that absorbs the magic damage from a single attack hitting it, then displays a number of the damage done.

Rules:
- Make a post where you say "Roll" or 'Rolling"
- Roll as much 100-faced dice as you want in that single post. You may roll once or 10 times. It's entirely up to you to add more rolls. The limit is however many rolls you can do in a single post.
- At the end of the night, the average number you rolled x 100 will be your damage score
- You may come back to that single post at any time during the night to roll more on it as you wish until you can no longer roll on it.
- Only one single post of rolling per player is allowed. Rolling in any other post will not be accepted.
- You may click "Throw Another Dice" to keep throwing more dice in a single post until you cannot anymore.

Magic Game 5 (Part 2) - Tag Team Battles

Welcome, participants of the 5th Magic Game:

This magic game will be "Tag Battleship".

Match 1:

Rules:
- Each tag team is added to a tag team chat where they can discuss the game.
- Each team will be sent a link to participate in a battleship match against their rival team. This is a best of 3 Rounds.
