A thread for talk about what I believe is one of the best anime/manga ever; Fullmetal Alchemist! Written by Hiromu Arakawa, it has two anime adaptions, each with it's own movie, as well as a bunch of video games and novels. There's unfortunately also a Netflix adaption.

As someone who's watched both anime adaptations, The Conquerer of Shamballa and Sacred Star of Milos, and walkthroughs/cutscene compilations of the PS2 and Wii games, I still wonder what the appeal of this franchise is for most fans, particularly the Manga/Brotherhood continuity.

Fullmetal Alchemist might actually be the best Shonen. I would give this honor to Attack On Titan if it ended right after the Return To Shiganshina Arc, however.

Ed, Al and the most hated villain in anime have cameos in Hiromu Arakawa's new manga, Daemons of the Shadow Realm.
