I have barely been paying attention but in closed setups in my neck of the woods if we are dissatisfied with a slot we advocate for their death not ask for their role. Perhaps a difference in style.

I still like my vote where it is. But I don't want it presented as if I'm never wrong on someone when I don't even share that confidence in the first place. It doesn't really have any relation to my vote as it is anyway because I don't believe anyone should be voting on the basis that I'm voting there without at least considering my reasoning first.
 
Just got to the Aurelian vote on Ratchet

I feel that's genuine, just a random vote from someone who hasn't read. I played one scum game with Aurelian and he felt more like he was lying low than not having read
 
What screams town for you about Gad?

let me do some wifom if you dont mind. im aware of how last game went, im aware that i could act emboldened and use last game and being ignored as a reason to dictate the phase. im aware i could even use it as an advantage against ultra at this moment and, again, use the leverage of last game to try to gain some advantage in it. as scum i could easily utilize all this to my own advantage to direct towards a mislynch of my choose, even the ultra hard mode(get it hehehe) of a strong town player. it's not like im unaware of any of this. im not exactly caught off guard by you feeling this way or if others are and as scum it would be in my best interest to use it to my advantage.

as town there is no advantage to it. i was much more sure of ultra being scum last game than this game. there are still things he's doing in this game that i like(for example the polar/orca consideration that they're both too easily being town read and there could be some reasoning behind that). that isn't to say i agree with it, but those types of considerations are done by town players/town ultra. thunderdomming ultra if im not sure he's scum just hurts town if im wrong.

as far as being emboldened goes, do you get emboldened? you might say in the moment youre emboldened and next game you'll lead without conceding or cooperating or deferring but are any of these actual optimal plays? ill go as far as saying the chances are they could easily be optimal for me to do, but the cost is likely people's moods/section health state/etc. rather than be emboldened because i was right and didnt get my way blah blah blah, the other take away from the game was it was off-putting and too inflammatory and it's preferable to fix that than try to get my way in a mafia game because i think im better. i also dont really get emboldened due to playing this game for about 13 years now and for most of that time already thinking my way>your way.

you might find this overly/unnecessarily wordy, but i dont like people(and it's something they often do) trying to direct me towards a path im not interested in and yet it regularly happens. with you early last game, in the previous game with town gram who i was scum reading with gad then voting gad and people(that all ended up as town) tried pushing me towards gram instead.
that's fair and similar to how i play so i cant really call it out.

why cant he be scum that doesnt know what's going on though? not suggesting that he is, but im wondering why youre concluding that isn't a possibility.
