so a fun little thing that sc2mafia does instead of a members game for their anniversary is they have a super role madness game where everyone makes a role AND everyone draws their own avatar in MS Paint AND it's anonymous where the username is based on the avatart u drew



they thought this looked like an Oink i guess.

also i've played with probably half of the ppl in that PL and it was a fun group, especially gikkle.

and i did not register an account bc the account was made for me, so sorry if registration is what gatekept u bc i have no idea how their registration process looks like
 
oh ALSO one last fun fact

i tried to draw a wolfy looking avatar in that game to see if i got wolfread from it and i did (probably not bc of avatar tho)

but the logic was there was someone who made a reads list based strictly on avatars and it was oddly accurate for some reason

LOL no clue then. maybe try some of the other options. if i were gonna make an account, i'd try Stripper or Mayor or any of the other options. or maybe leaving it blank

i won it as a commission playing halloween bingo in the MU halloween mash. it can tile together into really fun shapes
 
anyway i just wanted someone to talk to at 3AM but gl on your mafia game search

apparently other websites that have a mafia scene are hypixel, mafiascum, mafia.gg, pokemonshowdown (turbo games that last an hour), the game circle, and art of problem solving

you can prob find more communities by going on MU and seeing what ppl have listed as their home community
 
I mean, I'm sure I'll find a game if I look hard enough. But I think I am able to wait for a game to appear in my home sphere for the time being, hehe

Appreciate the effort though!

I'm also just a little bit lost in thought, I am thinking about what flavor my next game should be
 
but my strategy has been to just spectate random MU games and then ppl reach out to me personally asking them to join random games on random websites. it's how i found the sc2mafia anniversary game and how i found the game i played on WG and how i found the game here

do a dandadan themed game maybe? it's pretty popular rn and i found out a friend of mine (who i still follow but prob forgot me) from high school is one of the voice actors

I haven't even watched that series, so I don't think that's very high on the flavors I want to host lmao

Was thinking maybe some classic game titles, like legend of Zelda or smtn, that could be cool

Well, fair.

But I don't want to be overly ambitious due to being relatively fresh as a host

I mean, the actual role creation bit is the best part - don't feel like I'm lacking in the creativity department.

But idk, I think it makes more sense for me to have it a bit more focused

 
ah gotcha

you could go the complete opposite end then and have "oops all Links mafia" then (everyone is just a different Link from a different LoZ game) / pick ur fave LoZ game or classic game and do roles from there? u could also find a more experienced cohost or find ppl to help if u still want to do something ambitious but don't think u can comfortably do it alone
