I guess it is one of those cases where because her attacks look like they are too fast and dangerous to try parrying with at first before eventually manning the fuck up and just going all in to see how effective it actually is.And Malenia is insanely weak to parrying. Like you can parry most of her attacks, and the only one you need to actually block is Waterfowl Dance, which can in fact be blocked. Even at level one if you have the right shield. Besides that, you need to dodge her Scarlet Aeonia. Which also can be done. All the gear you need can all be found here but even as a level one Wretch it's doable.
You need the proper set up, but all the items and equipment are there for the taking. A lot of it you can get right away. And go on a voyage into outer space with her consort. Apparently, this is also the same world or even multiverse as Sekiro and Okina comes from Ashina.

Yeah,it needs more indentity though i think the idea was to explore the party members to find exploits, and maybe thats why they made the AI so goddamn aggresive though the last boss in particular is relentless even if you have infinite stamina, it doesn't help that they have a hint telling you what bosses do and the weakness before the fight which is stupid asfThe gameplay looks like it took way too much from Ni-Oh(while Team Ninja is on the team, we all know what Square says goes) while not adding much of it's own identity at all past "Job Changes and being able to cast FF Magic". The game and the bosses seem like they are WAY too aggressive to actually be able to explore any real options to take advantage(The final boss looks way too piss easy but they go past that by having it almost constantly attack you with no real pause with too many AOE attacks.).
I felt some mobs have too much health for how obnoxious they are at least on hard,it only takes 1-2 hits for your character go to the ground, and is pretty much a death sentence if no party member manages to aggro the mob attackI've also heard the Party Members are OP as hell which makes how easy the bosses and normal enemies have such low health even more ridiculous than it has any right to be.
