Remakes often have this problem that they don't recreate enviroment of what is supposed to be, they just go for "epic" or "better graphics" or even just appealing to shallow emotions
 
We've heard this for years but the lemmings keep lining up to see the movies. ROI is down but they're still profitable enough that risk-averse producers keep going back to the well.

Fire Force only has one character doing any amount of fanservice... ONE and it's not even as gratuitous as you can see in a basic ecchi series.

someone point out that out of the anime and manga theres about 10 minutes of fanservice across all episodes and about 10-12 pages of her shenanigans in the manga because they try and wrap it up quick
