Vergil NOT voiced by Daniel Southworth doesn't work. At least Dante has had multiple voice actors and JYB does voice a DMC character. Maybe I need to hear more of it but so far this is NOT gonna work.
We have bosses from multiple DMC games like Echidna (who has shrunk considerably), Cavalier Angelo and what I can only assume is meant to be Agni and Rudra (they don't even have their swords and their heads are attached to their bodies) since they compliment Dante. Cavalier is probably the stupidest inclusion because that was Trish who had been transformed, so how is he here already?
Dante definitively saying he's "not a demon" is completely at odds with him saying that "I'm not even sure myself" what he is to Cerberus who called him out for not being human.
Lady has some sort of jet boots (at least I'm hoping that's what it is and not that she's an actual cyborg or some shit), though at least it does look like her "fight" with Dante is still him trolling her and not her being a genuine challenge.
I can only assume the White Rabbit has to still be Arkham and the whole thing's a gambit to try and revive the Temen Ni Gru, though I'm probably expecting too much in terms of the story resembling the games in any way.
STILL not using Devils Never Cry for the trailer, I mean I like Last Resort as much as the next guy but there was a better choice here.
Hasn't really done anything to raise my expectations at all.
Guess Netflix Vergil decided to become a chain-smoker with how his voice sounds from an early age. Brother should've known better. His game version would be ashamed.

Bolded I feel is him not seeing himself as a Demon but could also be him not seeing himself as human hence the "I dunno" answer he gives in 3. Everything else I agree with, in some ways I feel like Last resort fits the 2000s era action movie vibe 3 went with and do not mind it being used but the lack of actual video game soundtracks and songs is annoying. Vergil I have zero fucking clue why they went with a different voice actor, much less one that sounds more fitting for Vergil in DMC5 where he and Dante would have been close to or around their 50s instead of him still being in his 20s.
