Still manages to hate Jecht by the end, because he was just blatantly ignoring anything positive he did because "bad father is bad". Apparently character development is not allowed if you say even a couple mean things to your son, no matter what you did after.
Also Seymour is somehow just a bad villain but "the FFXV guy is so COOL and Sephiroth is so AMAZING".
Dude couldn't even remember Ardyn's name yet he's trying to put him over Seymour as a villain.
"Asta says his magic is never giving up and he wants to be the top dog in his country aka the wizard king, just like naruto has his shinobi way and wants to become hokage"
THEN I GUESS DIGIMON, POKEMON AND ZATCH BELL ALL RIPPED OFF NARUTO HUH
"Asta says his magic is never giving up and he wants to be the top dog in his country aka the wizard king, just like naruto has his shinobi way and wants to become hokage"
Naruto's shinobi way was never going back on his word, I'm really not sure what that has to do with Asta at all.
And sure they both want to be the top dog, however their reasons for that (while similar) are not the same. They both want acknowledgement from a society that largely ignores them, but while Naruto really only wants it for himself and acts out of loneliness, Asta wants it for the sake of his entire village as well as all other orphans, nobodies and outcasts.
Not to mention both their goals expand in different ways too. Naruto is primarily dealing with the cycle of hate and violence and trying to bring peace, while Asta primarily wants to address inequality and make a kingdom where everyone (regardless of race or status) is truly equal.
Not to mention the NUMEROUS personality differences between the two.
The closest characters between Naruto and Black Clover (at least in terms of their role in the stories) would be Gaara and Mars and even that comes with massive caveats.
