Imo all those statements about turning the world upside down are very Blakean. Tldr his mythology as he explains it in the Four Zoas had the world being inverted due to the fall of man (Albion) up being down, north (Urthona) becoming south (Urizen) etc
I've read Blake's actually really popular in Japan for some reason
It's also very Dantean, in how he described the world to have been inverted after the fall of Lucifer, with the purgatory mountain being shifted to be in the lower hemisphere, Satan himself being upside down with his ass upwards (lol) and so on
The entire story of One Piece seems to follow a trend of inversion (the SHs being branded as demons despite being one of the few genuine forces of good in the manga, the WG portraying themselves as Gods, etc etc)
