I remembered this series when I was talking to @OtherGalaxy about a twitter account that posts fake Transformers feats.
Dinozone (Known as Dinozaurs in U.S) is a series created by Bandai and Sunrise in 1998 about transforming dinosaurs. It was created as an answer to Beast Wars, who was very popular at that time in Japan.
The series is about Dino Knights empowered by the Earth Crystal that fight Dragosaurs, aliens who devour the life force of the planets.
Dragosaurs are very durable. They can enter the atmosphere without getting damaged. Their leader, Diamond Ryugu, can absorb the life force of a planet.
The same can be said for the Dino Knights. Dino Ptera and Ultimate Dino Tyranno can exit and enter the atmosphere without getting damaged. They can also survive in the vacuum of space. Dino Ptera is strong enough to throw Tyranno from Earth to the Moon.
Dino Tyranno's weight is 58 tons.
All Dino Knights, even the heavy ones, move very fast. The japanese OVAs state that they move at mach speed. They don't say a number. They can travel from continent to continent in hours.
Triblades can move faster than the eye. He turns into a blur and Gigano Dragon has troubles following him.
Dino Knights are very strong. Dino Brachio and Dino Triblades (The fusion of Dino Styraco and his two brothers) can make a multi-block sized fissure on the ground with one hit. Their clones have the same strenght and can do the same. Gigano Drago can destroy a 200 m tall mountain with his sword. Triblades destroyed Gigano's sword in several battles.
Dino Knights can lift their enemies, whose weight are measured in tons.
Dino Styraco destroyed the wall of a mountain with his head.
Dino Pachi, one of the Dino Arms, destroyed a metal cage by expulsing life force. Dino Pachi can turn into a sword that can cut anything.
Dino Ptera can use a boomerang. Its range is 500 m.
Gigano Dragon can shoot energy balls strong enough to create a big crater. Dino Stego survived being hit by one of these.
The clash between Gigano Dragon and Triblades causes a big explosion.
Diamond Ryugu has another minion called Drago Wing. He is very stupid but he is not to be underrated. Drago Wing manages to catch Dino Ptera, a Dino Knight that can fly at mach speeds.
He also survived being smashed by Triblades's sword.
Gigano Dragon and Drago Wing can fuse together. But the fusion only gives wings to Gigano Dragon.
Diamond Ryugu has another minion, but this one is very independent. Dark Dragon is a very strong magician and Ryugu's strongest minion. He can use an eclipse to hypnotize the people on Earth. He can also use bats like Myotismon. These bats can drain the life force of their enemies
Dark Dragon can use his magic to wake up a volcano. Dino Knights are immune to lava and magma. But with Dark Dragon's magic, the lava turned Tyranno and Tricera into fossils. Dark Dragon can create strong Dragosaurs.
Dark Dragon can create humans like Kira and reanimate deceased creatures like a Supersaurus skelleton. This Supersaurus caused a ruckus on a city. He can also absorb the lifeforce of those who touch him.
Dark Dragon and Ultimate Dino Tyranno fought on the Moon. Dark Dragon's sword can damage the Moon surface. In a previous episode, Tyranno and Tricera destroyed that swords.
When Tyranno killed him, Dark Dragon's body causes an explosion that can be seen from Earth.
Dark Dragon can also create human disguises for the Dragozaurs and the Drago Clones.
Diamond Ryugu created the Drago Clones, clones of the Dino Knights that are equal to them. But they hate teamwork and are very stupid. The accidental clash between Tyran and Ceratops caused an explosion that killed Tyran and destroyed two mountains.
Diamond Ryugu, the boss of the Dragosaurs, is very strong and defeated the Dino Knights in one hit several times. One time was 65 million years ago and the other two in the modern era.
Diamond Ryugu can teleport others with a flash of light.
The only one who defeated him twice is Dino Ramph, a Dino Knight that can empower others and weaken his enemies.
Dino Ramph is also stronger and faster than Dark Dragon. He used his powers to give a power-up to Tyranno and Tricera.
During the last episodes, Ryugu captured Dino Ramph and used him as a battery for a machine that can absorb the lifeforce of a planet very fast.
Dino Tyranno manages to defeat Ryugu when the other Dino Knights give him their power. Tyranno slashes Ryugu and the villains loses all the life force he absorbed. After losing all the life force, Ryugu turns into a small dinosaur.
