I know what your thinking and yes, that is indeed the title of the Manga that I will be covering in this thread.

This first post will be just a small intro to the thread and how I will be going about it.

So what is Scoop Musou

Scoop Musou is a light novel writen by Yasohachi Tsuchise, with illustrated by Hagure Yūki with a manga adaptation illustrated by Renji Fukuhara.A legendary miner teams up with a runaway princess to combat demons and track down cursed jewels. its a very goofy series that has a power in it that makes no fucking sense but is hilarious to watch in action.

I'll be going over the manga first since thats what i've read so far and then later down the line I will cover the actual Light Novel.

Note: The early chapters in the translations I have refer to shit as Scoop. Ignore that its supposed to be Shovel

Alan is well over 1000 Years Old

Though he doesnt need to Alan can say the word Dig to fire off his techniques

Shovelport and Shovelspace

Its not Magic

the last feat for this Chapter is the his most famous technique and what the name of the manga
WAVE MOTION SHOVEL CANNON

Again its not Magic, but instead the concept of Digging turned into a wave of energy

Chapter 2 is light on feats but it does give us an idea of what Alan is all about

Here he digs a 1KM tunnel

At the speed of light

In order to do the things that he does Alan ignores the laws of Physics

He was able to do this after "Digging" out his common sense

Being exposed to the power of the scoop digs the common sense out of a persons mind and essentially brain washes them

Like I said short on feats but explains a bit for later. I'm going to keep this slow and simple so I dont end up burning myself out. So ill try and do 1 or 2 a day depending on how I'm feeling.

Alright I'm back to do this again. Sorry its taken so long but I'm a lazy bastard. Anyway the FEATS

Alan's Eye sight is absurd and can see 10KM away

And the last feat for this chapter. Alan can change what exactly the Wave Motion Shovel Cannon can do

Alright Onto Chapter 4. This ones full of more exposition than anything else as we learn some more about Alans history but we do get 2 important notes

1. Alan defeated Ifrit a couple hundred years ago

and 2. we have another one of alans named attacks. The SCOOP SEAL

Cant do shit if your sealed 10KM below the surface instantly.

Alright this chapter has a lot of shit in it so to start off we have
Scoopearching

And then Scoopfilm

And now one of Alans more wild Techniques that hes calls Scooptruction Power!

With it anything he imagines in his mind, he can build

He also built a bunch of scoop soldiers

As well as the Offensive Scoop Fortress

All of this combined to make the new Elf Castle that he finished in 2 hours

Alright we start off by hyping up Alan once more with a talk about his fight with a Demogorgon

Which he managed to defeat with a Suicide Shovel Bomb and a Point Blank WMSB

And now we see a new power of the Shovel. The Dungeon Run Guide

it lets Alan "dig up" the blueprints of any dungeon he wants

and with this information he can use his other power. Strucshovel Reform

Which lets him reform a dungeon from outside the dungeon

And thats it for chapter 6

So yeah this chapter is an ecchi one and ass such the images will be spoilered. Also alot of shit in this chapter isnt explained too much.

Anyway, Alan can use his Shovelstruct Power while inside the dungeons hes reforming

He can also Purify the Undead, Send them to the afterlife and even exorcise demonic entities from astral beings with his Divine Shovel Power

Being Intangible doesnt stop the Power of the Shovel. The power of the Shovel can also restore lost sensations to spirits and other intangible beings

This is a very exposition heay chapter so not many feats to speak of here. BUt theres a few things
He cant shovelport to places hes never been

So instead he Shovel Dives

And yes his Shovel can act like a bladed weapon

and finally he can see through the disguse of demons with his Shovel

This chapter is full of goofy shit so be ready.

The Shovel can solve riddles with its Shoveanswer (Yes the old man was the answer to the riddle)

One of my favorite feats in this series. The motherfucking Time Shovel

Wearing equipment provided by Alan can also dig out your common sense and put on the path of the shovel

Shovel Makeover

The Pyramid they entered gets absolutely flattened by a Dragons freedom, Alan blocks it with his Shovel Shield and the chapter ends with them getting ready to fight the dragon

Alright I decided to just finish this fight with the dragon because its fun

First up, Alice (The Ghost Girl) attempts to send the breath attack the dragon was going to fire to another dimension. this is when we learn the dragon can erase magic

Another spell is used when the dragon fires his breath to put it out before it causes any damage. This same spell was used to seal him in the past so he goes to Magic Erase it

Instead Alan Counters with his Shovel
