Shouldn't Jojo's DC be higher?

This is me only yapping about what i vaguely remember from my readthrough from years ago, so, if i get something wrong, blame it on that (or the alcohol)

But
I vaguely remember someone calcing Killer Queen's explosions to be city level, due to them having atomization values
So, one of my questions is, how come this doesn't scale to peeps when we see various characters surviving them?
I often hear the argument that "they're hax", but that's not exactly how it works, no? Afaik, the reason why KQ's bombs ignore durability is due to the Stand turning you into a bomb, not because the explosion itself ignores dura, otherwise no one would be able to survive them in the first place.

There are also characters that take hits from Weather Report, who we have at city level

And finally, iirc, Jojolion Kira causes an earthquake in Morioh via an explosion

So, what gives?

Skimming jojowiki since I don't have time to reread rn and they also mention Kira has control over how much of someone is deleted and how large an explosion is etc. which could also explain these discrepancies.

JoJoLion just hasn't been that closely analyzed by the OBD. I honestly forgot Kira2 even did this.

In that case they wouldn't be tanking the full blast so I'm not sure if we can actually get a usable number for it. The AOE is quite small because almost all of the energy is going towards obliterating the atoms of the person involved.

Yeah cloud related feats do usually end up netting decent numbers I just can't recall seeing what Weather specifically did getting analyzed

After speedreading a bit, city level WR prolly comes from that one scene where he makes it rain accross 20 miles

Think we also usually assume hurricanes/tornadoes to be city level, and he can make those iirc

Kira's explosions aren't all equal. The explosion that atomized Shigechi was a contact bomb (Shigechi touched the door knob to activate it). Shigechi while heavily injured did survive a different explosion from Kira where Kira turned a coin into a bomb and detonated it.

Most of the bubble bombs, like the one that hit Okuyasu, Kira had to detonate them himself rather than them being contact bombs.

I don't think it caused an earthquake, but Kira2's Sheer Heart Attack's explosion was strong enough to destroy the Pier it was on with pages afterwards showing the blast causing multiple boats to lift off the water.

It's hax, it destroys sound and any trace of the person or thing turned into a bomb. Straightforward atomization would actually make Killer Queen less useful in cross battles since it could just be tanked so I don't know why people went that route to begin with, I always remembered the atomization calc as being kinda hypothetical anyways
