actually dont think soul and poyser are aligned with the way soul is pocketing poyser. im liking posyer as indie theory alot more

Could be. Some more points for my theory though:

Ratchet didnt stick around to sell the saber alternative

Despite saying he was voting sparkles to read me, he didnt have anything to say about me unvoting sparkles right after he asked sparkles to claim
 

Could see him being a bit demoralized by him getting linked to Soul, or Soul and him having a disagreement behind the scenes on how to proceed.

Or hell maybe it's just both and Ratchet could be whatever

No but he wasn't really driving the push that strongly either.

I think what's notable is Ratchet neglected to comment on elements of Soul's reaction here which look damning for him and goes straight for the most convincing argument in his favor. Could be reading a bit too much into it but that is how I would approach the situation as scum approximately
