There are lots of players here who are experienced (5+ years is the average I would wager, some of us are over 10 years in the ring too) and confident at playing scum that I don't think they can be caught from the amount of posting they do - especially when under pressure. So I would say fairly normal. There are some players that turtle up though, so it requires knowing who is good at scum and who is not, I would say Poyser is a very good scum player, with a lot of success in his games as scum here.How normal is on that site for top poster to be a scum because on MU and on my homesite it's extremely rare.

Yeah, it's very murky waters. Like if he asks are there 4, and gets yes, then that's remarkably lucky. If he gets no, then it's up in the air, if we can even trust the results.I mean, if scum shoot him I think that's a big concession on their part. And it's not like he can ask the number of vanilla claims, just the amount of them, which doesn't mean much until his alignment is confirmed. And even then, would require him ideally anticipating the exact amount of vanilla there actually is in the game from his role which is pretty difficult!

Hime's posts radiate far less nervousness than they did in the last game (she was scum) where she's constantly laughing off her own posts, she's taking her posts more seriously this game which I think is a good sign of confidence.I'm losing confidence in my hime read. It's looking to me like her modus operandi this game is to go after the so-called "big threats". If I look at her scum list there really is no consideration for how these players even fit as a team, she's just gunning for them. She's a good scum player, and in her recent games she has done a good job as scum at faking confidence and aggression to look like she has nothing to fear. I can see this as perhaps her overplaying that here. I also think her claim might not be all that clearing - I originally read it as town as I thought as scum she wouldn't want to put herself tied to a claim like that, but I'm underestimating her in that. Not only could she decide on her own volition to get the claim in, because she understands that she's going to have to claim it and the earlier the better, but there are several players here who, if scum with her, would come to the same conclusion. So I no longer think it's a reason to town read her.
I'm moving her into Null, with a need to see more tomorrow from her in terms of developing reads.
