no clue on the stats of Megazord but IDW Optimus is like country level or so scaling from the Space Knights and some other feats, you can maybe get continent level but idk

Iirc G1 Optimus is planet level due to scaling or something? Pretty sure that might be a closer match against the Megazord.

that thread has a lot of incorrect interpretations but the biggest issue is Thunderwing never destroyed a galaxy at all. He lifewiped Cybertron and made it uninhabitable for millions of years.
The Titans Return toy of Thunderwing that can damage the universe has nothing to do with the IDW character, not any more than the Marvel comics versions does.
Megatron's antimatter and black hole techs are outright stated to be a planetary threat and he himself cant survive them and even almost dies multiple times to planet razing weapons.
Megatron defeated a part of D-Void, the Matrix killed the rest of it in the Dead Universe. He isn't universe level from that at all. Dead Universe being multiversal also got retconned in Dark Cybertron and AVP, it's just a sentient evil universe. Technically a pocket universe but it should be the same size as a regular one based on everything we know about it.
The only one that has any credibility is Optimus killing Nova Prime that could control the Dead Universe after D-Void died and even then that seems more like a gigantic outlier given Optimus himself dies to a black hole later on and is injured by a human satellite after this.
The Time Drive was going to create a single time looped universe (the Dead Universe) to use as infinite energy to fuel cybertron. Nova Prime saying they would fuse all universes is no more credible than when Golden Megatron said it, and that's a legitimately multiversal character. The Time Drive was only ever shown to affect one to two universes maximum.
Regenesis doesnt make Shockwave's individual shots or durability universe level, using them with the Time Drive does. Optimus and Megatron aren't universal for shooting him with their standard equipment.
The worst though is the bit about Galvatron killing Nexus Prime. Not only is that not how multiversal singularities work at all, this is either an avatar of Nexus or a non-singularity iteration given The Shroud was published around this time. Nobody but Unicron and Primus and their ilk scale above true form 13 members. And we have not ever seen the 13 die in their true forms, we even know they can come back from the dead at will anyways. By this logic Bayformers Optimus is multiversal because he killed The Fallen. Fact is the 13 vary wildly in strength from avatar to avatar.
Unicron avatars are vulnerable to the Matrix because it's Primus' essence/angolmois energy. It doesn't kill the actual full entity. This also goes both ways, Unicron can make his own Matrices that poison Primus. That's not even getting into the IDW Matrix in general not making a lot of sense given how Lost Light explained its mechanics. The Matrix doesn't behave the same in every universe partially because Primus likes to change shape and act different from timeline to timeline.

idw is the most wanked TF series which sucks because the comics are legitimately incredible most of the time
people ignore the actually strong series like Galaxy Force, Legends/Unite Warriors, Alternity, etc but think country level guys are multiversal based on the worst scaling you've ever seen in your life

probably depends on the transformer but in general, no. Sometimes they even use magic themselves
