Transformers feats/discussion

Extremely skeptical on anybody in Cloud actually being multiversal. I cannot recall a single universe ever being destroyed in those stories or any of their attacks hyped up as such, I just remember Megatron believing he could do all this with Sara's power but even her showings are all over the place. It's not like with Star Convoy where every single piece of information related to him says "No this guy is literally the big bang"

I would call this an understatement since it is stated that upgrading Optimus to a Star Convoy would require a power greater than the Big Bang.

@OtherGalaxy
I guess the higher tiers of Energon/Superlink can get this scaling with all the super energon gas and other parts?

yea but the thing is, back in chapter 2-3, Megatron and rest of the decepticons invaded individual spacetimes. In chapter 4, he finally got the power of SARA plus absorbing her essence after the long chase. Even if SARA didn't gave Optimus in amp towards his Matrix, Megatron would have destroyed EVERYTHING. That was the point why SARA gave Optimus the amp to stop Megs.

the point of TF Cloud was only about Megatron conquering the entire multiverse and optimus stopping him. Even the narrative makes it clear he was going to do that. That dosen't inherently contradict everything since its not even a possibility if it was going to happen

Do you think Hearts of Steel Optimus is multiversal like some Quorans claim?

Their reasoning is that he defeated an Elder God and AVP said even Unicron was scared of Elder Gods or smth.

In the HOS series, much of the Decepticons seemingly died due to running off a cliff in their train modes (Autobots thought this finished off all the Decepticons).

In the Infestation 2 tie-in sequel, an Elder God infected Shockwave was damaged by 1880s human navy weaponry.

And I don't remember these characters do anything impressive beyond building level. Best feat off the top of my head for any Transformer in this series is probably Gears taking a seemingly indirect shot from missiles that created this explosion.

So, as you can see, Transformers in this story are not exactly a bunch of Gods. Yet, a supposedly Multiversal Optimus couldn't singlehandedly streamroll an army of building level characters??

You can see him fight the Decepticons here.

That specific individual Elder God Optimus fought was probably not very strong.

HELL no for the same reasons you listed, even in the other tie in comics none of the Elder Gods we see do anything particularly noteworthy either, they can’t even leave Unspace without prep and outside help from regular people letting them in. The D&D one specifically their Elder God is ultimately stopped by two regular guys.

The one Optimus fights does not demonstrate any noteworthy feats beyond its mind control. I also highly disagree with scaling them to Unicron when their showings are consistently worse than even his weakest versions. Unicron also lives in Unspace yet they’ve never attacked him once despite being beyond him? And only attacked Ramjet when he lost his connection to Unicron? Ramjet is actually their only useful scaling stick since he actually has good feats of his own and we know they’re stronger than him.

This is why I generally don’t trust Quora’s assessments of Transformers, they highball the hell out of everything without really paying attention to what’s actually going on. I’ll go to bat all day for way higher interpretations of Unicron, the singularities, etc than most because there’s a ton of evidence supporting it even if it’s obscure. Stuff like universal IDW characters (besides Shockwave) or multiversal Hearts of Steel require either misreading or ignoring everything about their respective series save for a few points of info.

iirc in that show its said he used the requiem blaster to destroy Unicron, whos left with his giant robot head floating around like 86

lol wait this is actually even funnier

they attacked a depowered Ramjet
we see a depowered Ramjet post-shroud (I HATE THE SHROUD)
he survives being hit by a black hole weapon and claims to have once wielded the power of "dead universes"
im not even sure that gives them full scaling to him lmao

absolutely
Unicron takes on a huge flow of energon without damage, and this energy was enough to light the sun with the center, which is the head of Unicron, in fact, in the finale of Superlink/Energon the same thing happens, but instead of the head there is already a spark of Unicron himself.
The rift in the universe that was caused by Unicron and created the Alpha Q universe is a black hole that will eventually collapse.
