Transformers feats/discussion

if he wants them to it establishes he can do it

ik at this point its probably easier to ask what can't unicron do, but this is more interesting and its better to have confirmation regardless

oh yeah funny thing im pretty sure AVP established that Unicron is a gobot

It's basically the same as Hulk's rage and power boost but on a passive level, so Galvatron's power level is potentially infinite?
if Unicron wills it to, maybe

on his own Galvatron wouldn't have this power for the sake of fairness (also because canonwise, it might actually count as narrative breaking if Galvatron can just will himself to become stronger infinitely if he feels like it, and its contradicted by what he see; Galvatron is strong as fuck, especially in the og comics, but he certainly isn't universal+ or whatever

like the path blaster which is designed to clear a path through asteroid fields (specifically stated to do as much during the fight) was able to blow off half his face

on his own, hes massively strong but not invincible

it goes toward him if hes fighting with Unicron possibly, because Unicron can seemingly do damn near fucking anything, but even then i'd still be against pulling out fucking infinite strength Universal+ Galvatron

I didn't mean that he is universal, but just like Hulk and Saitama, he will become stronger over time.

fair fair sorry for implying that, just wanted to be very clear on my stance with that for the future lol

he should be able to increase his power according to his need going by the bio, im just uncertain how far we take that

Megatron's Gun Mode, while not very powerful, still packs quite a punch.

Just to understand, at that moment in time he had catastrophically little energy, which is why his strength also significantly decreased.

It can destroy asphalt and flip over a police car and destroy part of a bridge.

With one shot he destroyed several tanks and defeated the military.

Destroys buildings with its shots.

ik this is for scaling purposes but i loved the follow up to that: megatron is so impressed by him standing tall in the face of certain death that he lets him live

In the Certain Affinity version of the game, the invading nanobot army has giant structures that according to Optimus are tearing the planet apart.

Timestamp 1:06, they release a planet-wide EMP that not only knocks out all Transformers on Earth but also causes at least the surrounding cities if not all of the planet to experience a blackout. Wheeljack seems to be somewhat close to epicenter, he may or may not have survived, but it probably does not actually count as a durability feat either way since EMP attacks are often more haxxy.

ok so vsbattle wiki (aough) has a formula for finding the change in temperature of something

energy (in joules) = mass * specific heat capacity * the change in temperature
specific heat capacity is the heat required to make a given unit of mass go up a given unit of temperature (so i assume like 1 degree celsius per unit of mass)

will be tricky but could be helpful to figure out, but ill be leaving this here for future reference

In my opinion, the heat resistance of a substance has little to do with scaling. In reality, when a certain temperature is reached, the chemical bonds of a substance, no matter how strong, cannot withstand the heat.

If you need to calculate it, you can search for the specific heat capacity of magnesium, because sabot is a munition with "volatile magnesium" installed in the setting

in the theory of relativity, light speed need infinite energy.
this is true but in fiction most characters even ones who fly FTL do not have infinite power
either the writers just didnt care or they knew but it would get in the way of the story, or theyre using wormholes to shorten the distance

to my knowledge cybertronians do the last one, like movie jetfire being able to space bridge himself across vast distances
