Partly. There are slots I expect Town Prof to read and focus on because they‘re not hard for him to read like Charlie and Yoho. It‘s what I like to call trying to get the easy reads out of the way. Most stronger Town players do that to just clear a bunch of slots and get a good start into the game to PoE the scum team quicker. Like i said, my position here is that the case presented doesnt correlate with the certainty with which it was pressed - you yourself said that it was his responses that sealed it, so i just wanna know what he possibly could have done to change your mind? This of course assumes hes scum etc

So I did think yesterday Ultra (and Ekko) were more certain that I was fully on board with. But I'm not seeing the scum angle for them here in light of what has transpired since - Ultra subbed in, I think it's very plausible then that he saw behaviour he didn't like, pushed it half to see how his quarry would react, and then said reaction further emboldened him. So my takeaway would be I have no actual issue with Ultra's play around Poyser and think they're demonstrably not aligned.

Ill ask you the same question - what kind of reaction do you think could have changed ultras mind? Im aware this isnt an entirely fair question to ask a third party, but id ask you to try nonetheless

I also got the same vibes wrt Poyser previous day and given how easily he was hammered it was clear he was at least partly doomed already. Or at least it was perceived that way by his team. So several things wrong with this. First, the takeaway that I "bussed Fang for no reason" is a complete misrepresentation, I would go as far as to say a complete fabrication actually, of how it actually transpired. You also wilfully ignore the actual issue I presented with Prof- that his paranoia came across as ingenuine. Prof knows that, as Town, he is expected to be paranoid of my slot to a point. There is always a logical reason underpinning this, because Prof is a logical player. Here, I found his paranoia to be more akin to trying to play into expectations people would have of him, as opposed to something he actually believes, because his reasoning lacks some basic considerations that I would expect of him.

Lastly, Melkor raised the anti bussing thing because he didn't understand that I qualified my statement as "in this format". Thus, using a game that explicitly wasn't under this format (unranked heavy role madness, to be clear) is irrelevant to the comment I made. (This is also addressing what you said @Lord Melkor)

Now, I can reconcile Melkor missing this. But you only commented on the post off the back of what Melkor said, so I would assume as Town you would be reading the context, and as a result, you have no excuse.

I'm going to need an explanation for all three points Flower, because it's difficult for me to reconcile this as genuine.

I think i need to look at prof again, my instincts around him all point negatively

I mean, I think Ultra is very stubborn as tiw and does not change course easily, I said this ti him last game in the dead chat, so my answer would be, probably not much. Would require Poyser to be very transparently town I think for him to overlook what he was onto early.
