Weakest Character that can beat Sun Wukong

That mainly comes down to the cosmology of the Universe within Journey to The West.

It adopts Buddhist & Taoist teachings. But wether its a 1:1 copy of the Buddhist & Taoist cosmology is another concept entirely

I recall Sun only being trapped beneath the mountain thants to the Seal of the Buddha/Mudra

Yeah, because the entire work is full of metaphors.

And I would say that Karna with his Kavach and Kundal from Mahabharat is a good candidate, if not then certainly Ganesha.
 
What was the mountain he lifted again? IIRC everything in Buddhism actually has a quantifiable measure.

My knowledge comes from the death battle, apparently he lifted both Mt. Tai and Mt. Sumeru.

Both mountains are the "lift the infinite heavens" kind

I never heard Sumeru was infinite, at least in Indian Buddhism it's 80,000 yojanas which translates to being the size of the sun roughly.
 
Isn’t 1 yojana = 8 miles?

Wouldn’t that make it 640,000 miles? Certainly far larger than Jupiter is, not too far off from the Sun
 
I don’t think the size itself is what’s important. It could be as small (relatively to the heavens) as the Chrysler building—what’s more important is if the mountains actually lift and sustain the “Heavens” and wether or not that’s actual infinity

Wukong before enlightenment should be At least uni he messed up the cosmos in his fight with heaven surviving an attack that almost split the universe and and running with mount mere/sumeru and he's Massively FTL. Off the top of my head Ultimecia from ff8 should be able to do it and possibly kill him (which is possible as shown when red boy almost does it in chapter 41)

Wukong should be Multiverse level at this point and I really don't know Wukong has a lot of crazy hax at this point that are pretty hard to deal with

At least in Pre-Enlightenment, BFR seems to work on him if you are fast enough.

Wally West even before he got amped in Rebirth should be able to turn him into a statue too, since Wukong also has zero defense against that type of hax

BFR should work

I don't know much about wally but Wukong after becoming enlightened should be omnipresent so I don't know if him doing that would work
