Which food would make for the best makeshift weapon?

Let's say all the conventional weapons disappear from the world. But you're in the middle of a mad max style post apocalypse and still need something to defend yourself with.

Your only option is a large quantity of one food item of your choosing you are given at the very start.

Would it be best to have a bunch of spiky durians to throw at your enemies? Or perhaps cactus (I looked it up there are some edible cactus apparently) to set up spike traps all around your home base? Or maybe even coconuts for the sheer blunt force they can provide?

That's just off the top of my head for options. I'm genuinely curious what the best food weapon might be so if you think it could be something other than those three, make your case for it.

Yeah, that works.

And I could see it being pretty effective too given the McDonalds and Starbucks lawsuits over their coffee causing third degree burns, and that's with them not even intentionally being heated for the purpose of causing injury like you'd be doing

The best choice out of these would undoubtedly be a Coconut. You can keep the peel and also use it to make Knuckles or breastplates since it‘s hard and can be used for defense. Alternatively you can just use salt if any food item is allowed.

Sugar. You could melt it in a pan and toss boiling sugar at people. Or even make glassy sugar knives.
