This was RE: Fang, why did you hesitate here to join on the Fang wagon other than the typical amnesia? Don't think I'll get an answer before the day's end, but that's okay, I'll keep ISO'ing in the meantime. Even after it's all said and done, you were quick to protecting Fang from this hammer/policy lynch wagon with such shitty bloat in the second half of your post, and I didn't turn a blind eye to the fluff entirely...


Ratchet seems to understand how to read GAD, despite GAD's switch in post style at the beginning of the day up until now. Is that room for concern? Possibly, but we'll need more to justify killin' off this lad...

I respect you owning up to the early game weak read cause I've done the same in past games as well but come on dude lol you're more experienced than I am in Mafia, how did you slip up this easily?!

I respect you for this too, but I'm simply wired AF, and getting as much done this day, so I can do the same outside of this game altogether. The rest of your posts are typical day 1 adrenaline rush posts, so I had to weed out as much as I could without ignoring the other players suspected of being scum. I feel confident in my vote, especially spending time ISO'ing everyone's interactions thus far. Safe to say that you lean more towards scum simply based on how much town slots you've given out on day 1 already, it doesn't fit the bill for me to feel confident enough in believing you are town, regardless of how much you stroked my ego in this post lol. You seem to know exactly how much of my ego you need to stroke in order for me to take your side and also stave off any suspicion of you possibly being scum. To add, @Poyser also town aligned a number of players, too, but he also provided a readable list I could work off of and ISO based on his claims. You have nothing to show for it other than banter and causing mischief and complete and utter chaos.


We can come back to this list during the next day 'cause I see Gramm on this list, and I want to get more info from Poy on why he's confident in Gramm being scum. For those of you that want to know why I need this info, the man lit a fire underneath my ass, and I need to understand these two player's interactions and there's simply not enough time left in this day to dig too deep into this topic.

Fang is also hard to read because of how cold his posting style can come across, except for when he's irritated, cause then he just goes in lol still hard to read him at this point, so I will reserve my assumptions for when I have more to go off other than his claim from earlier.

This is the first entry from a Journal that was discovered by a Hunter, somewhere deep in the Alaskan Interior, speculated to have belonged to a charged felon who had gone missing:

Day 1

"After 4 days of walking I decided to stop and set up next to this river. Nobody in sight. Been 10 hours on foot since I saw a piece of litter. Not a fucking sound, except at night. Don't think anyone will find me at this rate as long as I stay near tree cover. Hard part is keeping fires concealed. Didn't kill anyone, so after a couple months I can probably relax a bit. Found some big boulders in the side of the hill I can make a good winter shelter of, so long as there's not a bear in it.

Set some lines down by the river but nothing's bit so far. Got enough rations to last me for a couple months if I stretch them out but gotta supplement with whatever meat I can get.

After a night I did my rounds and see movement in one of my snares. Figure something got caught by the leg. As I walk up, I see something furry quickly take off. Size of a small dog. Ate half the rabbit I caught. Can still use it for fishbait at least.

Look up and see a Lynx staring at me from a safe distance, eyes wide. Never seen a person before. Was gonna just let it go, but then it started making noises. Held my breathe to hear it a bit better....and I swear to fucking god, it started talking.

"Boobies...pls. I'm hungry." it said.

Freaked me the fuck out. I pulled out my bow, docked an arrow and shot it. I haven't been out here long enough to be going fucking nuts and I haven't heard a thing since. Still haven't worked myself up to get my arrow back.

What's funny is normally, think I would feel bad about killing that cat. Have a feeling that fucker deserved it though"

Actually, on revision this kind of sticks out straight away. FTR I was town reading lethal because I liked that despite arriving to the game incredibly late, when he got here, he just got on with trying to catch up and providing thoughts on stuff that happened and providing reads with no histrionics. This would generally be indicative of town lethal, but I do think he's actually done better at this recently when he's been scum, and I also think if he were scum with someone that knew his game well (such as a gram), then he would have been told that hey, when you show up you need to provide thoughts and catch up and most importantly, vote, because otherwise people are just going to want to lynch you.

Anyway as for why this sticks out is because it seems very unnatural for the Lethal that I know. If he read Fang as town that's one thing, but he states here that he doesn't and yet he's very SOFT on him. For one, he has no appetite to vote for him (and fang was very much the most viable lynch at this point) and 2, he shows no appetite to punch down to Fang at all. In fact, he actually indulges Fang's theory about him being wagoned out of spite! If there's one thing about Lethal, its that he LOVES to punch down to people he considers lower than him on the totem pole, and Fang specifically, is a favourite of Lethal. The biggest red flag here, is fang said he'd only claim his animal, and lethal just accepts it and says it would be kind of him to claim his animal at least lmao. That is so un-lethal it's not even funny. Town lethal here would love joining a lynch on fang esp if he doesnt town read him, he'd love talking shit to fang and most importantly, he'd love getting on his soap box about 1) fang making pity posts accusing people of voting him out of spite and 2) the fact that fang was implying he wouldn't be claiming a role. He wouldn't accept either of those things, ever.

So I probably want to start my day here

Day 2

A big pile of shit

That's how it all began. Was walking along the shoreline of the river and saw a heaping pile of doo doo. As a hunter, naturally I had to touch it, see how warm it's been and what it had been eating. Of course by the size of the dung pile I already knew what it was - Grizzly. No doubt about it.

Then I noticed the prints - Big Paws, heading south and then circling out of the embankment. And...two sets of tiny little paws following in tow. Momma bear. Most dangerous animal on this continent by far, not too far from my campsight.

Went back to camp to grab my shotgun and spent the rest of the day walking around looking for trouble. Wasn't going to be taking any chances. Remembered there's a good chance she's camped near the cave in the boulders. Went there, didn't see much of anything. After 5 hours of just pacing around decided to call it a day and head back to camp.

The big bitch was right there, rifling through my shit. I keep my food on me, but she can probably smell residue, maybe some crumbs, or something cooked to the bottom of my pot. Duck down next to a tree and get her in my sights. Was about 100 feet away. Tried to edge a bit closer. When I was about 50 feet away, I stood up.

She looked me dead in the eye and said

I wasn't ready to fuck a bear. Certainly not a single mother. I emptied 12GA Buckshot into her lung cavity, 3 times for good measure. Her dumb little cubs took off. When I find one, maybe I'll keep it as a pet. Put him on a better path.

When it rains, it pours. Bagged a couple fish on the lines today. Bear might have been getting most of them.

It's taken a lot out of me skinning the big bitch with a dull leatherman. She keeps telling me that she needs to be tanned and turned into a blanket but I wanna make a coat. Have the head as a little hoodie, but I'm a terrible craftsman.

Normally this much meat would be a windfall. But Bear is all sorts of nasty - trichinosis, worms. Need to cook it very thoroughly, but fire and smoke will blow my cover. Tried slicing it thin, putting it on racks and sunning it, but not much light this late in the year. Might have to move into that cave, turn it into a big 'ol oven smoker.

Keep seeing this Snowy Owl around camp. I pay him in fish guts and he helps deal with the mice that have been poking around. Of all the animals you think would start talking to me, there's nothing out of the ordinary with this one. I fall asleep to the sound of his hoots.

Next morning I go out to check the gill net I had placed into the creek. I guess a fish got caught in there and my feathery friend had tried to steal my kill. Caught a talon in the net and he drowned. I was stricken by an unusual sadness, this creature was killed by forces beyond his meager comprehension, all because I decided to come here. I softened the honed instincts of the born hunter, condemned him to death by knotted plastic. Humans suffer similar fates.

I plucked him out and placed him on the ground, went to go git my shovel to bury him. These words rang in my skull:

"Stop pitying me, brainlet. I'm a great player you midwit incel."

It was all too familiar. Someone had said this, and it wasn't the bird. The harder I try to hone in on just who or where I heard it, the sooner it slips away from me. Like trying to look at a floater in your own eye. Perhaps the origin was just about as insignificant too.

Decided to leave him on the shore as carrion. Got my own problems. Winter is coming soon. Gotta knit Momma Bear into a sweater.

I've been out here for just about a month now. First snowfall touched down yesterday. I planned on lasting the whole season. But the cold has a way of undressing you. Distill a man down to his bare essence, and tell him who he is. First softly, then loudly, until nature is screaming at you. Telling you all your weaknesses, all your silly little assumptions, how you've decayed.

What I had told myself was I'd be sticking out here until they'd give up looking for me, but that's not true. I had dreamed of how long I could keep going, of slapping mother nature's ass and calling her Mommy. I dreamed that I would keep going until I would return to the earth. I had dreamed that this was my purgatory. That the cold, or a bear, or something else would help me cross that river out here.

Nobody sane would do all this to avoid a couple of years in prison. But that's not the reason. I did it to avoid people. Just couldn't stand em anymore.

Take Gad, for example. "Boobies" this and "Boobies" that. I just had to roundhouse kick him, you know? Didn't mean to cause him brain damage. Pretty sure that was from the alcohol anyway.

And then before you know it, I'm cuffed. Uniforms escort me through jails, through courts, through talking suits. Finally I payed bail and was given a court date. Was also instructed, in the mean time, to see a shrink. I'm seen by Dr. Watson, for psychological evaluation. Crazy fucking broad. At first, it started off pretty normal, she tried prescribing Prozac, I refused. I told her about why I roundhouse kicked Gad, she seemed surprisingly sympathetic. Then, she gets a manic look in her eye. She gets up, flips a panel on the bookshelf, to reveal a collection of colorful dildos. "We're going to make Gad suck this dick". She cackles like a witch. I roundhouse kicked her as well.

Officer Aurelian showed up to my house to investigate what happened at Watson's office. I informed him he needed a warrant and to get off my property. He puts his foot in the door and charges in, tells me to get on the ground, at gunpoint. Then he instructs me to cuff myself, or that he would shoot me. Typical cop. At this point, I had enough, and didn't care if I was ventilated or not. I stood up and roundhouse kicked him. He didn't shoot me, think he was used to pointing it more than he was pointing the trigger.

Time to run. Pack all my camp gear and essentials and get in my car to book it. My thoughts are racing wildly. Plan is to spend about an hour on the highway and then get out into the sticks, and abandon the car. Before I could hit the gas, I get a knock on my window. It's Endymion, my nosy neighbor. I remembered he called the HOA on me for my lawn last week. I get out of the car and roundhouse kick him for good measure, before I leave.

And that's how I ended up here. Eating Bear Jerky for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It is calm out here, peaceful. I don't have to see any more Homo sapiens. Don't have to deal with their incomprehensible behavior, their lies. But being out here has made me realize how human I really am, how I sully the peace of the wildlife, just being out here. It is too beautiful for me to continue to taint.

My natural habitat is behind bars, where I only have to deal with violent criminals. Not w*men, Cops, nosy neighbors, or Indians.

Ratchet wasn't a hard decision, he basically nailed the scum team off the Gad wagon exactly by Day 2.

Tweet I think did a really good job at hammering home Aurelian and getting himself killed which really secured town's win. Got a little duped by Watson but was onto her pre-claim as well.

Third slot I was kinda iffy over. I think Poyser's reads sans Watson weren't all too great, and definitely got CUCKED by Aurelian but also I think he did a great job both nailing Watson and keeping himself alive enough to get cleared. Did a good job at reevaluating his reads later. A for effort. I also think Watson's flip basically decided the game, so I'd be remiss if I didn't acknowledge one of her main pushers, even though she kinda stepped on her own rake. Ekko would have probably been here if he didn't massively overcook in the later stage of the game.
